B.E.A.S.T. Story: Long Day, No Break

Chapter 11 That could have gone better.

As Phantom, Ezekeil and Shay, meowing in Ezekiel's arms, run outside the burning warehouse, they see a number of B.E.A.S.T. operators and police officers we gather around the front of the building, preventing anyone from leaving the area.

"Thank god, the cavalry is here!" Ezekiel Relieved to see the police and the rest of the BEAST operators. "At least they won't get away!"

"All excepted for that Orc." Mutter Phantom says to himself, lost in his thoughts, as he limps away from the burning warehouses, which are entirely in flames now. 'I mean, who was she, and how did she know who we even worked for?'

"Cough... Cough... nnnaaawww!!!" Chocked Shay, as she started coughing. slaps Phantom face out of his thoughts.

"What's wrong? Is she okay?" Phantom asked Ezekiel, looking down at Shay as she started waving her paws around like she was playing with a toy.

"No idiot, she just swallowed one of those mess-up flowers!" Snapped Ezekiel.

"What?! Of S###!"

Ezekiel placed Shay down softly on the ground after moving closer to safety. Then he gets out his smoking pipe out of his pocket again, which was still lit and puffed out what little smoke he can get out. Then he used some of that smoke into Shay's mouth and started ravaging inside her stomach.

"Ggggglllllllllhhhhhaaaaa!!!!" Shay Screech, twitching and rolling on the ground back and forth, seemed in pain.

"Ezekiel Stop! Your hurting-...." Said Phantom, and before he could try to stop Ezekiel whatever he doing.

"Chhh!.... Chhhhh!!.... Blllluurrrrr!!!!" Vomited Shay, as she chopped out furball with the blood-flower munch in it. "Errrr... God! That... sssucked."

"You were saying." Smirking Ezekiel, giving Phantom a grin.

"First off Mate, Shut up! Second off, that was gross."

".... Your Gross!" Coughed Shay, burling what little chunk was left. "God, that was some trippy. I felt like my whole body w-... 'Cough'... shut down on you and... motionless. 'Cough!' Cough!'.... Worst of all... 'Cough!' I was even enjoying. Like I was happy."

"Just like what the reports said of the other victim." Mutter Phantom remembers what the reports said back at HQ.

Ezekiel looked back at Phantom and raised an eyebrow at him. "Ummm... dude, what's that in your hand?"

Phantom looked down at his left hand and realised he was holding a few pieces of paper and he remembered he had picked it up from one of the guards. The one that Phantom accidentally killed after jumping off the balcony and slammed his head so hard against the working table.

"The Angle Blood." Said Phantom, reading out loud,

"What?" Asked Ezekiel, patting Shay on her back to comfort her.

"It's what they call those flower things are, well what they uses to be are called The Angle Blood Flowers." Phantom kneels down beside Ezekiel and show them the papers. "This is a list of buyers who wanted to buy some of the drugs and where they are supposed to meet up."

"Well at least we know the name of the drug." Ezekiel holding the tip of the paper to have a closer look. "But the buyers on here are just places and times to meet them. And after what happened here, the problem is unluckily going to show up.

"True. But that's not the only thing that I manage to swipe." As Phantom digs around through his pockets and pulls out a mobile phone, which was a black smartphone with a screen and a timer on it. "I was able to swipe this from the Orc during our fight. Hopefully, it has something that provide something useful for us."
