Several hours later, back at BEAST HQ, Phantom was exhaustedly writing down a number of reports. Phantom had been at his desk since he returned from the Stakeout. Leon had ordered everyone to give Phantom their unclassified paperwork and ordered him to have each report written up by tomorrow. Usually, Phantom would spit at this mundane task, but he figured that he deserved it after his disastrous stakeout. So, without a word, he started working through each piece of paperwork. It was already morning, and yet there was still piles of reports left to do.

"Hrrr... F##### hell. Soo much for going out on a mission away from this bloody slice of hell." Yawned Phantom, with his left hand resting his head, slowly writing through each report. Shaking his head to keep awake, he starts to daze away more often. "Hell I Should go home to rest for a few hours and return to work wrap this.... Hrrrrggh!!!... Up! Later."

He began to get ready to go home, yawning enormous, jaw-aching yawns. Suddenly, his phone began to ring. He pulled it out of his pocket and looked at the unknown number displayed on the screen.

"Probably Leon wants something else again. That man really needs to get himself a cell phone." Said Phantom answering the phone, providing. "Hello?"

"Good morning Little Shadow, how have you been?" aid the familiar voice that Phantom had heard during the stakeout last night.

"You!" Groaned Phantom in a deeper voice, as he clutched his free hand, gritted his teeth, and felt angry inside as his blood started to boil. "Who are you, and what the Bloody hell do you want."

"Hmm-hm... What I am is not important. Well, not yet, at least." The Mysterious Voice chuckled over the phone. "However, I can tell you that I am here to help you."

"Help me?" Nodded Phantom confused. "With what? Paperwork?"

"To make you see the truth." Responded Mysterious Voice. "You have been Lied to by the people you been working for. They hide secrets from you, so they can use you and then let you rotten like a rat."

"Tch." Chuckled Phantom. "Thanks for the heads up, but I would rather trust my workmates than someone that never shows his face."

"That is true. But do you really think you can trust an organisation that hides many secrets from others as well? And treats you like dirt?"

Phantom didn't respond and stood in silence. He felt a shimmering chill in his chest, and an uncertain feeling started building up in his mind.

"Let me ask you something." Continued the Mysterious Voice. "Why are they making you do all their unnecessary work without anyone helping you? Making you do all their dirty work, day and night, sitting on a poorly made throne?"

"Because it's the line of work here." Replied Phantom at last. "It's my punishment for the crimes I committed when I was being a C###. You wouldn't understand."

"Agh Yes. Back when you were so much more powerful. Fighting criminals, dishing out retribution Rooting out murderer's and killing them in your name of justice. When you we're known as The Reaper of Australia, Am I wrong?"

"How did-.... I mean, I don't know what you're talking about." Stammered Phantom, hoping that this Mysterious voice wasn't talking about what he thought.

"Don't lie to me, Little Shadow. Everyone knows about the Legend of the greatest Killer of the Outback. The Crusader who saved innocents by killing the corrupt and evil."

"He's dead." Interrupted Phantom. "That Drongo died after an Assassination attempt, drowned in the harbour."

"No little Shadow. He is with you. In your flesh, In your blood and in that forsaken Soul of yours. Just need a little spark to wake him up from the weak delusion that you have become, and I can help you achieve that goal."
