Dhruthi guided Karan to his bed, helping him lie down, but he couldn't shake off the guilt that consumed him. He felt sorry for Dhruthi, cursing himself for his actions. "How could I do that to her?" he thought, his mind racing with regret.Meanwhile, Dhruthi stood in front of the mirror, inspecting her appearance. She winced as she saw the bite marks and scratches that covered her skin, a painful reminder of Karan's loss of control. She gently touched the marks, feeling a mix of emotions: pain, sadness, and a hint of fear.

As she gazed at her reflection, Dhruthi's eyes welled up with tears. She felt violated, her trust shattered. "How could he do this to me?" she thought, her heart heavy with sorrow.Karan stood up, his eyes filled with remorse, and wrapped his arms around Dhruthi from behind. "Please wait here, I need to buy some things," he whispered, his voice filled with a mix of guilt and concern. Dhruthi nodded silently, her body still tense from the earlier events, and sat down on a nearby chair.

Karan hurried out, determined to make things right. He visited a nearby pharmacy and bought some medication creams to help soothe the bite marks and scratches on Dhruthi's skin. He also stopped by a clothing store and picked up a long-sleeved kurthi to cover up the marks. Finally, he visited a cosmetics store and bought some makeup items to help conceal the bruises. As he returned to his room, Karan's heart ached with regret. He hoped that these small gestures would help alleviate some of Dhruthi's pain and discomfort. He entered the room, his arms laden with bags, and approached Dhruthi with a gentle smile. "I'm back," he said softly. "I got some things to help you feel better."

Dhruthi took the bag and disappeared into the bathroom. She emerged minutes later, wearing the long-sleeved kurthi, its soft fabric enveloping her like a protective shield. She had skillfully used the concealers to cover the bruises, erasing the visible signs of Karan's loss of control. As she stood before him, her eyes sparkled with a mix of compassion and concern. "I don't think you did this intentionally," she said, her voice gentle but firm. "I know what you are, Karan. And I personally feel like something's happened to you, something that triggered this. If you look into it, it will be better...for both of us."Dhruthi's words were laced with empathy, her expression softening the sting of her statement. Karan's eyes locked onto hers, filled with gratitude and shame. He knew she was giving him an opportunity to redeem himself, to confront whatever demons had driven him to behave in such a way.

"I'll find out, Dhruthi," Karan promised, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'll figure out what happened and make sure it never happens again.""Fine, but you should have told me earlier that you went out to buy these things," Dhruthi said with a hint of a smile, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Actually, I need some more long-sleeved kurtas. I don't have many like this. Let's go and get some."Karan's face lit up with relief, grateful for the change in subject and the opportunity to spend more time with Dhruthi. "Of course, let's go," he said, standing up and offering his hand.As they walked out together, Dhruthi leaned into him, her shoulder brushing against his. The simple gesture conveyed her forgiveness and willingness to move forward.

"Thanks for understanding, Dhruthi," Karan said, his voice filled with gratitude.Dhruthi looked up at him, her eyes shining with compassion. "We're in this together, Karan. We'll figure it out."After a pleasant afternoon of shopping at the mall, Karan and Dhruthi had gathered a few beautiful dresses and long-sleeved kurtas. As the evening drew to a close, Karan drove Dhruthi back to her PG.

As they reached the entrance, Karan hesitated, his usual goodbye routine now filled with uncertainty. He longed to hold her close, but the memory of his earlier actions lingered, making him fearful of overstepping. For the first time, Karan was scared to ask for a hug, worried that Dhruthi might feel uncomfortable or even reject him. His hands remained frozen, unsure of how to initiate the familiar gesture.
