The day had finally come. Jeevan had given his interview and returned home, his face glowing with a mixture of relief and pride. His eyes sparkled as he stepped through the door, a bright smile lighting up the room.

Karan and Dhruthi arrived home after a long, hectic day of work, yet both were bubbling with curiosity, eager to hear about Jeevan's experience. The moment they saw him, Jeevan could not contain his excitement.

"I am confident about the interview," he said, his voice bright and unwavering. Happiness spread instantly across Karan and Dhruthi's faces. Karan's lips curved into a quiet, relieved smile while Dhruthi's eyes lit up with joy.

After a moment, Jeevan's tone softened, serious now, his gaze steady. "Karan, I think it is time. You should confess everything to our parents."

Karan ran a hand through his hair, a small, nervous smile on his lips. "I am okay with that, but I am not sure about Dhruthi. Marriage is a huge responsibility. I do not want her to feel pressured right now. She still has so much to explore and achieve in her career. I know responsibilities do not disappear after marriage, but I want her to feel at ease before we take that step." His eyes softened as he looked at her, filled with care and tenderness.

Jeevan placed a firm, reassuring hand on his shoulder, his expression calm but encouraging. "It is Dhruthi's call. We will talk to our parents and let them know about you two. If needed, we can plan the marriage a few years later. But the first step is honesty. We will make it official."

Dhruthi straightened her back, her eyes locking with Karan's, a gentle yet determined smile spreading across her face. "I want to marry you as soon as possible," she said, her voice steady but full of emotion. "I know marriage comes with responsibilities, but I can handle them if you are with me. I do not want to play any hide and seek. Let us make this official and have our time together."

Karan's chest lifted in relief, and a radiant smile broke across his face. His eyes glistened with unshed tears as he reached for her hand, squeezing it gently, grounding himself in the warmth of her certainty. "Then we will do this together, no holding back," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.

Dhruthi leaned closer, her forehead resting against his, her voice soft but steady. "Karan, are you sure about this? I know we both love each other, but marriage... it is a big step. Responsibilities, compromises, everything."

Karan cupped her face in his hands, looking deep into her eyes. "I have never been more sure of anything in my life. I want to face everything with you, every challenge, every joy. It does not matter how hard it gets, as long as we are together."

She smiled, a tear slipping down her cheek, and traced her thumb across his hand. "I was scared at first, Karan. Scared of the future, of everything changing... but I realized, I do not need to be afraid. With you, I can face anything."

He pressed his forehead to hers again, his voice barely above a whisper, yet brimming with emotion. "We will take it one step at a time. I promise you, Dhruthi, your dreams, your career, your happiness, they will never be secondary. We will build everything together, at our pace, in our way."

Dhruthi hugged him tightly, her heart racing with joy and relief. "Forever sounds perfect," she whispered. "And I cannot wait to start this journey with you, officially."

Karan held her close, breathing in the moment, feeling the love and trust between them grow even stronger. "Neither can I," he murmured. "Neither can I."

Across the room, Jeevan watched quietly, a soft smile on his face. His heart was heavy with a mix of relief, pride, and a little wistfulness. He could see the way Karan held Dhruthi, the way they understood each other without words. For a moment, he felt a pang of protectiveness. She was his sister, and now she was stepping fully into a new chapter, and he had to trust Karan to keep her safe.

But as he looked at them, he realized that trust came naturally. Karan's love for Dhruthi was clear in every gesture, every glance. Jeevan's chest swelled with quiet happiness. For the first time in a long time, he felt a deep sense of peace. His sister was with someone who would protect her, cherish her, and stand by her, and he could finally relax.

He leaned back slightly, letting a smile spread across his face, teasing lightly despite the emotions flooding him. "Well, you two have officially scared me with all this lovey-dovey talk. Are you planning to leave me out entirely?"

Dhruthi laughed, burying her face into Karan's chest. "Not a chance. You are still very much included in all of this, brother."

Jeevan chuckled, his eyes softening. "Good. Because seeing you both happy like this... it actually makes me happier than anything else."

The room seemed to glow with warmth, laughter, and the quiet certainty that their bonds had grown stronger, that love and trust were now the foundation of the future they were all beginning to shape together.
