Hey everyone , thank you so much for all the love you've shown for Karan and Dhruthi ❤️. I wrote the ending a bit in a hurry before , but I've retouched it now ✨. I hope you all enjoy the final version! 🥰
Soon, I'll be launching the sequel, exploring the story after Dhruthi and Karan's marriage, from Jeevan's perspective and his hidden love 💖✨. Can't wait for you all to dive into the story.
The next day began, but this time it felt different. They say a red thread forms between the fingers of two souls meant for each other and that invisible bond had now begun to tighten around Karan and Dhruthi.
Jeevan had already left for work, teasing Karan on his way out. "Take good care of my sister," he'd said with a grin. Karan could only laugh, pretending not to feel the weight of those words.
Days passed in a blur of meetings, deadlines, late-night calls, and quick morning texts. But in the midst of it all, one thought stayed alive in both their minds it was time to make things official.
On a quiet Friday evening, Dhruthi stepped out of her office, exhausted but smiling when she saw Karan waiting near his bike. She climbed on, resting her sleepy head on his shoulder as the city lights blurred around them.
After a while, she opened her eyes, realizing something felt off. The route looked unfamiliar.
"Karan," she murmured, rubbing her eyes. "Where are we going? This isn't the way home."
He smiled without looking back. "To seek blessings."
"What?" she asked, confused.
"Just relax," he said, his tone teasing. "Soon we'll be boarding the train."
"Boarding a train?" she exclaimed. "Where to?"
He chuckled. "You'll see in the morning. Just sleep for now."
"Sleep?" she muttered, rolling her eyes. "How do you expect me to sleep when I don't even know where we're going?"
But eventually, with the steady rhythm of the train and Karan's calm beside her, her curiosity gave in to drowsiness.
When the morning sun slipped through the train window, Karan woke to find Dhruthi already staring at him with mock anger.
"Hey, when did you wake up?" he asked, stretching.
"An hour ago," she said sharply. "Why didn't you tell me we were going to Tirupati? I could have prepared properly! What if my period started, Karan? You're so careless."
He laughed. "Don't underestimate me, my wifey. You think I don't track your cycle?"
She glared but couldn't help smiling. "You're impossible."
He winked. "And you love it. Now come on, I booked a flat nearby. We'll freshen up and head to the temple."
"When did you plan all this?" she asked as they stepped off the train.
"About a week ago," he said casually.
"And the tickets?"
"Connections matter, Dhruthi," he said with a smirk.
She shook her head in disbelief, half amused, half amazed. "You and your surprises."
But nothing could have prepared her for the next one.
When they reached the flat, Dhruthi stopped dead in her tracks. Inside were both their parents waiting.
Her mother, Vasundhra, smiled warmly, while her father, Madhan, stood beside her, looking pleasantly calm. Karan's parents, Sumathi and Ravi, were there too, their faces lighting up as soon as they saw the couple.
