"Ugh, why can't I sleep? My mind is flooded with thoughts of Karan. He's been acting so differently lately. It's like he's a new person. The way he looks at me now... it's like he's seeing right through me. Not just my eyes, but my soul.

keep thinking about how he's been trying to spend time with me. Taking me to the market, watching the sunset together... it's all so sudden. And then he holds my hand! What's going on?Why didn't I ask him what's going on when I had the chance? Now I'm just lying here, wondering what's changed. Is he feeling something more? Does he see me in a different light now?Stop bragging about how you didn't ask him, Dhruthi! You should have spoken up when you had the chance. Now you're just left with all these questions and no answers."

As the night went on, neither Karan nor Dhruthi realized when their thoughts finally gave way to sleep. They both drifted off, lost in dreams of each other.Karan's last thought was of Dhruthi's smile, and how it lit up the sunset.Dhruthi's last thought was of Karan's eyes, and how they seemed to see right through to her soul.Though they didn't know it, their hearts were already entwined, beating as one in the silence of the night.

The sun rose, and Madhan left for the office, while Vasundhra became busy with her household chores. Meanwhile, Karan woke up and started getting freshened up.

Dhruthi, however, was still fast asleep. Vasundhra wanted to wake Dhruthi up, eager to show her daughter as a girl who wakes up early in the morning and efficiently handles all household chores in front of Karan.

Vasundhra went into Dhruthi's room to switch off the fan. Karan, who was watching, came and stopped Vasundhra from doing so, a look of concern etched on his face. Vasundhra's expression turned puzzled, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

They both went to the hall room, where Karan said to Vasundhra, "Aunty, why are you waking her up? Let her sleep. From tomorrow, she'll have to cope with her job again. Let her take a good rest at her home." Vasundhra's face softened, a warm smile spreading across her face as she nodded in understanding.

"What, Karan? You're spoiling her too, just like her dad!" Vasundhra teased, a playful glint in her eye. "She can rest here all she wants, as this is her home. But when she gets married, who knows if her in-laws will accept a girl who sleeps till noon?"Vasundhra asked, her voice laced with a hint of mischief and a dash of concern, her eyebrows raised in a playful challenge.

After listening to those words, Karan's mind whispered a silent promise: "Give Dhruthi to me, Aunty, and I'll love her with my whole heart, making her home in mine." His eyes softened, and a gentle smile spread across his face, revealing the depth of his emotions.

Vasundhra's gaze was drawn to his expression, and she saw the sincerity and longing there, her heart sensing the true extent of Karan's feelings for Dhruthi.

Karan and Vasundhra went to the kitchen to cook together. They laughed and talked about Dhruthi while they worked.

They moved around each other easily, like they had cooked together before. They talked about Dhruthi's funny things and shared happy moments."Karan, thank you so much for your help! Why don't you go sit in the hall and make yourself comfortable? I'll finish cooking the remaining dishes.
Meanwhile, I'll bring you Dhruthi's photo album - I just can't wait for you to see it! Take a look through it before she wakes up, I think you'll really enjoy it," Vasundhra said, her eyes sparkling with excitement and a warm smile on her face.

Karan's eyes widened as he flipped through the pages of Dhruthi's album, taking in every precious moment captured in the photos. He couldn't help but smile at her toothy grins, her mischievous poses, and her joyful laughter. He was especially fond of the ones where she was covered in paint, her creativity shining through.
