Author's POV
Fourth bounded onto campus with an infectious enthusiasm, his carefree energy radiating like a warm aura. His thoughts were preoccupied with Gemini, and he couldn't wait to rekindle their usual banter.
Rushing to the library, Fourth's grin faltered when he didn't find Gemini. Undeterred, he wandered to the music room and picked up a guitar, strumming an intentionally out-of-tune melody.
Out of nowhere Gemini appeared, "You're playing it wrong, dumbass. My ears will bleed."
Fourth played it cool, concealing his excitement. "Just tuning, not really playing."
Gemini raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, right."
Fourth's face took over a mischievous grin as he pushed gemini a bit "First to reach class wins! Loser buys food!" Fourth exclaimed.
Gemini chased after him, protesting, "That's cheating!"
Together, they stumbled into class, Fourth triumphant. "THAT'S A TIE, GEM!"
Satang's voice cut through the murmurs, "OH MY GOD! DID I HEAR IT RIGHT? FOURTH, DID YOU JUST CALL HIM GEM??"
The class gasped.
Fourth shrugged nonchalantly and smacked Satang's head, sitting down. Gemini followed suit, ignoring the whispers.
As campus rivals and stars, Gemini and fourth's complex dynamic fascinated their peers.
Fourth's charming personality and musical talent made him a fan favorite, not to mention boy was literally so damn gorgeous and adorable at the same time with unique facial features and had many admires
While Gemini's intellect and confidence commanded respect and also attracted many people's attention by his stunning looks but nobody dared to approach him except fourth.
Their rivalry masked a deeper attraction, and Fourth's affectionate nickname – "Gem" – would undoubtedly spark curiosity.
Just then a senior named love burst into the classroom with a radiant smile. "Everyone, I have fantastic news! We're going on a field trip in three days! Please fill out the forms online which will be shared in the group and I'm the incharge of this so let me know if you have any issues"
The room erupted into cheers, with Fourth enthusiastically joining in. However, one student remained stoic - Gemini. His expression seemed uninterested, but one person noticed the faintest glimmer of sadness in his eyes - Fourth.
Throughout the day, the class buzzed with excitement, discussing what to bring and buy. Satang's enthusiasm was contagious, but Fourth's mind wandered.
"We'll sing and play guitar all day!" Satang exclaimed.
Fourth's distant gaze snapped back to reality. "Y-Yeah?" he stuttered.
Satang chuckled. "Earth to Fourth!"
Unbeknownst to the others, Fourth's thoughts lingered on Gemini's subtle reaction. He sensed there was more to Gemini's indifference than met the eye.
