The next day, their shared trip seemed to have shifted dynamics. Fourth never expected Gemini's friendship, while Gemini thought he'd never earn Fourth's forgiveness.
"HEYYYY, FOT!" Gemini exclaimed, spotting Fourth. His infectious enthusiasm surprised those unaware of the trip's events.
A girl intercepted Gemini before he reached Fourth. "Gemini, I have something to say to you," she said, her voice trembling slightly.
Everyone watched, curious about Gemini's reaction. "What?" Gemini's voice turned cold, his expression unyielding.
The girl continued, undeterred. "I just wanted to say... I like you. I've liked you for so long now-" Her words hung in the air.
"Okay!" Gemini said bluntly, walking past her without breaking stride.
"Won't you give an answer?" she asked, disappointment lacing her voice.
Gemini didn't bother turning around. "My walking away should be answer enough," he said, his tone firm.
The girl grasped Gemini's hand; he jerked it away immediately. "Dare to touch me again, and be ready to face the consequences IDC if you're a girl," Gemini warned, his eyes flashing.
"You're such a jerk, Gemini!" she retorted, her face reddening.
"At least I don't kiss random people and confess to others the very next day!" Gemini shot back, his voice rising.
Unbeknownst to others, Gemini had caught a glimpse of her kissing a guy by the lake during the trip. However, his focus had been solely on Fourth; he'd ignored the encounter, deeming it irrelevant.
The girl's face fell, and she stormed off, embarrassed.
Gemini's smile returned as he ran to Fourth like a kid, showcasing his duality.
"Heyyyyyy, Fot!" Gemini exclaimed, as if nothing had happened.
Fourth struggled to find words. "You're... quite popular," he said, attempting a joke.
Gemini chuckled. "Nah, just unwanted attention."
Their eyes met, and Fourth sensed genuine warmth.
Classmates whispered, sensing the shift.
Satang observed from afar, smiling knowingly. "Looks like Gemini found his weak spot."
Love nodded. "Fourth's got him wrapped around his finger now."
Gemini leaned in, his voice low. "Want to grab lunch together, Fot?"
Fourth's heart fluttered. "Okay..."
As they walked together, Gemini's arm brushed Fourth's, sending shivers down his spine.
Gemini's cold facade now seemed reserved for others, while Fourth received his genuine smile.
Gemini's POV
I'm currently sitting in my usual place, but it's so far from my FotFot (It's just a brench apart). I want to sit beside him. What should I do?
