Gojo looked over the contents of documents, scanning it quickly and processing all of them with the six eyes. Light-work for his eyes, as he quickly mulled over the contents of the contract.
Leaning back on his chair, Gojo crossed his legs over Kal'tsit's office table, causing her to deadpan.
Well, she was always holding a neutral expression anyways, but he noticed a few very slight visual cues on her face. Moving on...
It was standard, there was not much that he would change about it. His eyes slightly lowered as he focused his attention on Kal'tsit.
"Are the conditions to your satisfaction?"
"Wow~, you really took my suggestions to heart, huh?" He had asked that he be permitted a lot of freedom when joining Rhodes Island, so color him surprised when his suggestions (demands) were actually complied with.
His hand snatched a pen resting in a container, pressing down on its presser creating a clicking sound.
With short and fast movements, the signature part was signed.
"Do note that your monthly salary is based on your contributions," Kal'tsit decided to reaffirm a point, "depending on your efforts, it will impact heavily on how much you will be receiving."
"Ah, don't worry about that, I always put in my best effort!" Waving her off, Gojo thought back to that one time he bought sweets when Megumi was retrieving a Sukuna finger...
But that was ages ago! He was a changed man after Shibuya and Shinjuku... Well, not by that great of an amount.
"I see, then within 2 days we will be reaching Lungmen for negotiations, along with the Doctor, Amiya, and me, you will be acting a bodyguard and providing any information you recall from Chernobog," Kal'tsit crossed her arms as she stared out of the window.
She had visited Ace while he was in the hospital bed, waking up from his deep slumber. Rosmontis was there with him, crying as he woke up.
After things had settled down, she asked for any information of Reunion that he knew, and who exactly the white haired man who saved him was.
The responses were brief, but she understood that even he was confused at the mysterious stranger.
Rosmontis tilted her head during their conversation, which led Ace to pat it... with his only remaining arm.
They could get him a prosthetic, Kal'tsit mulled over, if he didn't want to retire, that was. The other injuries he sustained may be life-affecting, but knowing the man himself... It might not hold him back at all.
'Lungmen...' from what Gojo could tell about it, it seemed to be a bustling city of great commerce and trades. Its Earth equivalent was China, or a city in China if he were to take a jab at guessing it.
Gojo leaned to the right, looking past Kal'tsit as he stared at the moving scenery, the monotonous scenery presented itself as a blasted wasteland.
It was almost post-apocalyptic in his opinion, causing him to become more and more curious about this world as he discovered more aspects of it.
Seeing how Rhodes Island traversed the lands in an attempt to research oripathy and build up their company, Gojo realized he could explore this world while also keeping up an income to do well... whatever basically.
The manual book he was given to provide a brief overview of how Rhodes Island worked as a light read, considering he could just skim through the entire book for 5 seconds and memorize every single word, detail, and crease.
He turned his gaze away from the window, leaning back further on the couch as it creaked under his effort.
What would he even spend his monthly salary on? The Rhodes Island landship already had pretty decent food, but he guessed they didn't hold all of the world's delicacies.
