"Uhm, is that okay?" Amiya winced when she saw Gojo being launched across the stage, crashing through the props. Dust of obliterated wood flew into the air, causing it to coat the vicinity.
Amiya could empathically feel it, the drunken stupor that Gojo Satoru was in, letting a reasonable question come to her;'should he even be on stage?' The Cautus girl didn't even know how or why the white haired man got so drunk in the first place.
"They seem to be having fun," the Doctor had his arms crossed, taking in the scene too casually for Amiya's liking. "Who do you think is gonna win?" He asked without a care in the world, finding the scene to be damn entertaining.
"Does that even matter?" Ch'en knew that the whole thing wasn't that serious, it was a stage play after all. Even if it looked realistic and the... impact seemed real, they weren't actually fighting. "I don't think they're doing this seriously."
"You're right, it's a stage play after all," the Doctor nodded, "my bets are on Gojo, anyways." He didn't know much about Skadi, so he couldn't quite gauge her skill level.
"...I wouldn't say so, I heard Ms. Skadi was-" Amiya was about to say something, but the crashing sounds of a certain Bounty Hunter being hit by a wooden chair was heard.
Slick sounds of blades were heard later, as Skadi procured steel weapons that glinted under the stage lights, tossing them towards Gojo.
The latter received them with great joy, grabbing each of them and tossing it back.
The two began to go into a frenzy of grabbing and tossing blades back at each other. Blades such as knives, needles, and even cleavers (where did they get all of those?) started flying through the air.
With the speed they're going at, sending sonic booms across the arena, it might have been a bit difficult for some non-combat oriented Operators to keep up with.
"...It's not like the stage play takes into account their actual skills, they're just acting out characters," Ch'en pointed out, "I don't think it'd be productive to make bets based on that. Not that I condone it, of course."
The Doctor and Amiya took a short glance at her in acknowledgement, before turning back.
'....Ms. Skadi and Mr. Gojo really are taking this seriously,' well, Amiya couldn't say so about the latter, considering he was drunk out of his mind at the moment. The Cautus girl didn't know how, but Gojo was somehow hiding his drunken state really well.
Aside from the expression that made it look like he was extremely high, and clearly drunk. Even if the blushing cheeks and sloppy movements that would come from drunkenness weren't present, it was obvious to everybody that something was wrong with him.
SHING
"Ouch," the Doctor replied with a deadpan, seeing Gojo being lodged in the thigh by a blade, "...that was practical effects, right?" Maybe they were using tomato sauce to make the blood? But the weapon seemed to go pretty deep in...
"Uh..." Amiya's ears twitched from the sound, "Ms. Ch'en, what do you think?" The police officer must be really good at analyzing scenes, so the brown haired Cautus girl sought her out for her expertise.
"...I'm sure they know what they're doing," Ch'en commented with slight hesitancy, knowing that their previous prediction was outright thrown into the gutter. 'Gojo can heal really fast, can't he? This whole thing should be fine, right?' The former LGD Superintendent tried to reason in her mind.
***
FrostNova blinked, stunned at what she was witnessing. Aside from the Yeti Squadron who were cheering Gojo on, the crowd seemed much more immersed for some reason.
