Nearl blocked a strike from a Reunion Elite, before pushing back and smashing the side of their head with her weapon.
She could feel Shining applying her arts ability to her, increasing strength, speed, and durability. The glowing woman applied a golden aura around the Pegasi, making her truly bear the moniker of the Radiant Knight.
But that wasn't the reason why she gained that title in the first place. "Light, heed me!" A gracious blessing of radiance gathered around her form, spiraling into a great power in which she could utilize.
A blinding light flashed before the Reunion group's eyes, forcing them to cover and retreat. However, a great volley of crossbow bolts rained down upon them, disallowing their chances of doing so.
Nightingale applied some sort of barrier to surround Nearl, boosting her strength and providing protection along with Shining's.
To put it bluntly, Nearl was a walking juggernaut that was being provided with both enhancements and constant healing. A devastating enemy for anybody to go up against.
Unless it's Gojo Satoru or a Feranmut... Or an Abyssal Hunter...There were many that could go against it, actually.
...But aside from that, the Reunion soldiers were soon pincered down from the operators, Schwarz in particular landing meaningful shots towards the more elite members.
"Whew..." Nearl watched the scene, a guaranteed victory for Rhodes Island at this rate. But even if it were, she'd keep her diligence up.
"Well done," Shining spoke up from beside her, Nearl turning to give her a glance.
"Thank you," Nearl gracefully accepted, before shifting back to the battlefield. "We need to keep a keen eye out for more Reunion reinforcements.
"Truly so-," Shining attempted to speak out, but was interrupted when the sound of space being distorted was heard.
Heads turned to the source, a Red blast making its way across the cityscape, bending space to its whims as buildings collapsed before its force.
"...Does he ever run out of energy?" Nearl's ears twitched as the dust flew into the air. "He hasn't even slept for an entire day."
Much to the group's chagrin, the wind seemed to blow in their direction, making a wave of dust blow towards them.
Shining and Nightingale worked together to cast a simple arts barrier for the group, not putting much effort into it as the situation didn't require it.
Mutters of thanks were heard from the other operators such as guards and crossbowmen.
"He did say he could use his 'Purple,' six times before getting tired," Shining noted. "But it's hard to imagine it can be more destructive than... This," the destructive capacity reminded her of the 'Royal Court.'
"The Red blast is less concentrated than the Purple one," Nearl made her analysis, waiting for the dust cloud to blow over. "But it's overall weaker... From what I could tell," it was truly amazing how Rhodes Island could recruit somebody like him.
"...Why do you think he joined?" Nightingale tilted her head, a blue bird resting on her finger tip.
"Not a clue, his public records are quite empty," Nearl replied. "What's even more of a mystery is his home."
"Perhaps he left it, after it was destroyed by this Ryomen Sukuna," Shining made a conjecture.
"That..." Nearl wanted to rebuke that claim, but couldn't find it in her mind to do so. "...You're right, do you believe they..."
