My Reflection {Rodger x Glisten} 🌼

Glisten entered the elevator along with Teagan, Rodger, Cosmo, Goob, Scraps, Vee, and Astro.

He sighed deeply and leaned against the wall. "Great...another day of getting chased by twisteds..." He said to himself. Everyone prepared themselves for the elevator to open. Once it opened, everyone spread out and began looking for machines. Glisten went up to a machine that was currently being worked on. Rodger had already filled it half way. Glisten slowly watched him complete it since all machines were taken.

Once they returned to the elevator, everyone began chatting with one another, while Glisten sat in the corner. He wanted attention but anytime he would try to get it, everyone would shrug him off. Still, he got up and tried his best to communicate with everyone.

Once the elevator opened, he heard a familiar voice mutter, "I hear someone...". Glisten furrowed his brows and set off to find the creature that spoke those words. He looked around before turning the corner and finding himself but in a more beaten up, ichored version of himself. His eyes widened as he stared at the monster in fear. He didn't know what to do. Rodger seemed to notice Glisten's reaction and he stopped his machine. Rodger walked up to Glisten carefully and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, calm down...it's okay..."

Glisten's eyes began to tear up. As the last machine was finished, all he heard was glass shattering and he began running for the elevator. Glisten fell to the floor of the elevator as it shut and began sobbing in fear. Everyone stared at him, some were concerned, some were annoyed. The one who was most concerned was Rodger. He walked up to him and kneeled down next to him.

"Hey, hey...look at me"

*Glisten slowly glanced up at Rodger, his breathing heavy and his tears falling from his cheeks to the floor.*

"I know what you're feeling...I acted the same way when I first saw myself twisted. It's okay to feel this way, but I promise it's not a bad thing..."

Glisten began to calm down and he wiped tears away. Rodger sat in the corner and signalled for Glisten to join him. He crawled over to Rodger and laid against his chest. His heart was still beating quickly, but at least he was getting attention now...
