"What?" I asked as my eyes widened, "me, following you? You're the one who I keep seeing staring at me."
"You didn't seem to have a problem with it when I told you it was because you're gorgeous," she said with a challenging smirk.
I narrowed my eyes at her, but my brain wasn't working fast enough to come up with a good response.
"I'm just speaking the truth," she continued.
I felt the heat return to my cheeks when I saw her eyes rake up and down my body.
"Are you flirting with me now?" I asked as I raised an eyebrow.
"Is it working?" She quickly retorted.
"I - no..." I trailed off.
But fuck, it definitely was. To say I was enjoying her eyes on me was an understatement.
I wasn't sure if it was the alcohol, my recent breakup, or just the fact that she was fucking hot.
"You don't sound very convincing," she grinned as she leaned in slightly closer to me.
I forced myself to take a slight step back, and I shook my head.
"Why do you look familiar?" I abruptly asked.
She had me so flustered that I'd almost forgotten that I wanted to ask her that.
"Uhh, I don't know," she said slowly, "I don't think I recognize you...but should I?"
"I guess not," I mumbled.
She took a step closer to me again, and my eyes focused briefly on the front of the low cut shirt that she was wearing.
Fuck, what was she doing to me?
Even though I'd kissed women before, I'd never been in a relationship or slept with them or anything like that.
I guess I had always had somewhat of an attraction towards them, but I never really thought much of it. This woman on the other hand, was making me think about it a lot.
When I met her gaze, I could tell that she'd caught me looking at her. A smirk played across her lips, causing me to blush even more.
"So what are you doing here by yourself?" She asked me.
"Um," I gulped, "I'm not usually - by myself I mean, but it was a rough day."
The alcohol in my system and her proximity to me were making it hard to focus or make sense of anything. She leaned against the wall next to me and gave me a pitying look.
"Are you telling me that you need someone to cheer you up?" She asked.
She was only inches away from me now, and I felt her thumb lightly trace over the back of my hand. It sent a shiver down my spine as I tried to form the words to respond.
"That's not - not exactly what I meant," I managed to get out.
"Okay..." she said as she stepped out from the wall and turned to face me, "but would you stop me if I tried?"
"Tried...what?" I quietly asked.
"Tried to...make you feel better," she said as she moved even closer, "relieve a little bit of that stress that I can see that you have."
Her hand was on my arm now, her fingertips trailing all the way up to my shoulder and stopping there. She gently pressed her thumb into a tense spot near my collarbone, and I couldn't help but let my eyes flutter shut.
I heard her laugh quietly as she massaged the knot, and I forced myself to look at her again.
"Should I take that as a no then?" She asked with a smirk.
I stared back at her, not able to stop myself from nodding in response.
"Hmm, interesting," she said playfully as her fingers continued to work over my shoulder.
I couldn't exactly read her expression, and I wasn't sure what she had planned.
Her hand slid along the top of my shoulder and over to cup my chin. She was slightly taller than me, and she tilted my head up to look her in the eyes.
They darkened as they met mine, and I felt my stomach flutter. Fuck did I ever want that drunken make out right about now.
I wanted her to make me forget about everything that had happened with Owen, so badly.
I still wasn't sure how we'd gotten to this point, but I wanted it to keep going. I leaned in slightly, waiting for her to make the next move.
Keeping her hand under my chin, she slowly closed the distance between us. It felt hesitant at first, but it didn't take long to intensify.
I felt weak in the knees as her tongue slid across my bottom lip before parting them. She put her free hand on my hip and pulled our bodies together.
I let out a soft groan when her teeth tugged at my bottom lip as she pulled away.
"Come with me," she said, almost in a whisper.
I nodded absentmindedly, not even thinking twice about it. She grabbed on to my hand and led me around the corner into the bathroom.
As soon as the door was locked behind us, her hands were on my hips and she was pushing me against it.
She trailed kisses up the side of my neck, her teeth nipping at the sensitive skin as she went. I tilted my head to the side and let my eyes fall shut as she made her way further up.
"Are you going to let me make you feel better now?" She asked into my ear.
She sucked at my earlobe as she waited for an answer.
A strained, "yes," was all that I could get out.
I could feel her lips curl into a grin against my warm skin, and I leaned further into her.
Every ounce of me knew that I shouldn't be doing this, but that wasn't about to stop me tonight.
My body was absolutely aching to feel some type of pleasure after the hellish day that I'd had.
She kissed along my jaw, making her way back to my mouth, and I was eagerly waiting for her.
The soft scent of her perfume and her body pressing against mine was even more intoxicating than the alcohol, and I wanted more.
