"mommywake uppppp." emoni spoke irritatedly trying to wake her mother up.
"huh? i'm up baby. what you need?"
"somebody is at the doorrr. get it now it could be lele or daddy."
sai'elle frowned at the statement her daughter said.
it had been a week since sai'elle and analeya broke up and she didn't even fully process those emotions yet.
everybody was telling her she was wrong and it wasn't that serious but she wasn't gon have her child sad over somebody not coming around anymore.
she refused to be hurt again because like she stated it was nothing to send a simple text and communicate.
sai'elle shook her thoughts away and walked to the door.
"um hi"
"who the hell.." sai thought to herself.
"are you sai'elle cole?" the delivery man asked.
"yes, who's asking?"
"you have a delivery." said the delivery man who nametag read cyrus.
sai'elle took the boxes from him confusedly and thanked him.
"no problem. have a good day ma'am." cyrus spoke with a smile.
"who was it?" emoni asked looking around.
"it was a delivery for mommy."
"oh okay. bye"
"okay baby." sai'elle chuckled at her daughter.
sai'elle opened the package to find a handwritten card and flowers.
"dear sai'elle, i miss you mama. i wish i could be mad at you because it would make shit so much easier but i understand and i think that's why i'm so mad. i hate that i can't hold you or smell your hair or kiss you. it's been so long but i did this so i'a take responsibility for that. i love you forever and i love emoni too. give her a kiss for me. i just wanted to show you that i do care about you and appreciate you. i been crazy about you since day one but it's okay baby. come see me, i want to talk it out. i love you again. sincerely, analeya."
by the end of the letter, sai'elle was crying and hyperventilating.
she wanted to call her and fold so bad but she refrained from doing so because she was scared.
so she settled on a simple text.
sai'elle - thank you for my flowers and the note was beautiful. i love you and emoni does too.
her message was read immediately and she hurriedly swiped out of the messages seeing the 3 dots appear.
analeya - ain't nun mama, i love you. i'll make it right. goodnight and enjoy your flowers.
