sai'elle jumped out of bed and ran straight to the bathroom, barely making it to the toilet before throwing up.
it was the morning of her gender reveal and her nerves were completely shot.
she had been anxious all week but waking up knowing the day was here made everything feel worse.
sai really thought the day being here would make it better but as she leaned over the toilet, she realized how wrong she was.
memories flooded her mind with joy and the feeling from when she found out she was pregnant
the way she had completely freaked out in the living room with kali down to the pacing back and forth while she tried to calm sai down.
sai had been throwing up for what felt like forever before it finally slowed down
by the time she leaned back against the bathtub, she realized analeya had been there beside her, holding her hair back like she always did.
"please take the medicine mama."
sai shook her head weakly. "no leya. i feel like it makes the baby move less and i can't do it anymore. i'm tired of constantly having to worry."
analeya sighed quietly cause she didn't want to argue and replied with "okay."
sai had been prescribed medication for her nausea weeks ago, but she rarely took it.
even though the doctors had explained that the baby wasn't actually moving less and that the medicine just relaxed her body, sai still couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right.
no matter how many times they tried to reassure her, she wasn't going for it.
sai sat there for a moment after analeya walked out and just stared at the bathtub floor.
she knew her girlfriend wasn't mad but she didnt like silence.
sai sighed and carefully got up and rinsed her mouth before brushing her teeth and starting to get ready.
analeya was in the kitchen on her phone while she waited for the breakfast to be done.
"baby. i'm sorry, i just feel really scared when the baby just stops moving. it's not a fun feeling at all."
analeya nodded and hugged her girlfriend, "i'm not mad baby, i just want you to be okay. it takes a lot out of you."
"i know and i'm okay baby i swear. look promise?"
they locked pinkies and kissed to seal the deal.
breakfast was done so sai'elle started eating while downing cranberry juice, "i could drink a whole gallon of this i swear."
