it was warm and veryyy sunny outside so you already know sai'elle had an attitude.
the car pulled up to naloni and amari's house and they were hit with the familiar smell of spring flowers and freshly cut grass.
she glanced over at analeya, who was backing into the parking spot and her hand casually brushing emoni's leg as the little girl bounced excitedly in the backseat.
amari's cousins' kid oryan jr was chasing his little siblings parker & quincy who were already in the yard chasing bubbles.
maliyah & marie sat on the porch laughing at them.
"mama! we here? we gonna see tt loni?" emoni asked barely able to contain herself.
"yep baby. we're gonna see auntie loni and the whole gang." sai'elle said while smiling at her daughter in the rearview mirror. "you ready to party?"
emoni nodded so hard she practically bobbed her head off her shoulders. "partyyy party! cake?"
"yes cake."
"wanna give me a hint on the gender before we go in?" analeya asked smirking.
"hmmm."
"please baby?"
"uh so nope. hope that helps! lets go."
"asshole." analeya said under her breath.
"yours and you love meeee."
"yes i do."
naloni's house was buzzing the second they walked in.
latisha & trevon were near the door greeting everybody along with valerie & jamal but they barely did anything.
they just sat by the entryway fanning themselves.
ashton & bailee were on the couch telling paul to come join them for a round of spades.
mariah and taylor were arguing over the speaker volume while karon and justin were helping damon & davonte set up a game station.
balloons in shades of pink and blue dotted the living room with little mickey and minnie cutouts taped to every surface.
music played low in the background, a mix of upbeat r&b and some old school hip-hop.
sai'elle went to decorate early this morning but something about the way it looked now made it more worth the early morning wake up.
kali was sprawled on the couch scrolling through her phone but perked up immediately when she saw sai'elle come in. "twinnnn!" she called.
"bestieeee!!" sai'elle shouted, trying to run towards her and nearly tackling her niece.
