analeya woke up to emoni tapping her shoulder, "wake up!"
analeya groaned into her pillow but rolled outta bed anyway, she went to brush her teeth and wash her face.
after that, she went to get the clothes out the dryer and they turned the music all the way up and got to it.
emoni was dancing around picking up her toys and screaming the lyrics she only halfway knew.
"this my song!" she yelled and twirled so hard she almost knocked over the lamp meanwhile analeya folded laundry on the couch & shook her head laughing at her daughter.
she gon knock herself out before she picks up a crumb.
after an hour of "cleaning," which was really just emoni bouncing around and analeya doing everything.
they finally collapsed on the couch. "im soooo hungry," emoni announced.
"say less." analeya said grabbing her keys.
they ended up at ihop.
emoni ordered chocolate chip pancakes bigger than her whole head and kicked her legs under the table while waiting.
"it's takin forever," she pouted.
when the food finally came she lit up, "look mommy! it gots a smiley face!" she said pointing at the chocolate chips that weren't even a smiley face but analeya just nodded like it was.
if i argue with her imagination, we'll be here all day.
after breakfast, they ran to the grocery store.
emoni sat in the cart & kept grabbing random stuff off the shelves.
"can we get cookies? can we get juice? can we get cereal with the tiger?" she asked a hundred times before they even made it past the first aisle.
analeya side-eyed her. "girl you act like you paying."
emoni laughed and pointed to more things she wanted.
when they passed the baby section, emoni pointed at a tiny onesie. "awww, so small! the baby need this one."
analeya smiled and tossed it in the cart. "you just want an excuse to shop."
once they were home and the bags were put away, analeya finally had a little solo time.
she just relaxed and watched tiktoks.
by late afternoon, she hopped in the shower and actually got herself together.
by the time she was dressed and fixed her hair and a little perfume on, she felt better.
she sat on the couch then she lit a candle and picked out shoes she probably didn't need to wear just for a dinner date, but she wanted to look good when sai'elle walked through the door.
