The first week of classes got off to an intense start for our two young wizards. They were the center of many conversations and glances.
Nolan didn't give a damn, he had other goals in mind, learning magic and also solving the riddle about ancient magic.

Fortunately, Professors Weasley and Fig were able to provide him with temporary belongings to get him through the first few days before the Drake boys were rushed off with new personal effects. Fig was able to contact a member of staff at the House of Dragons to take charge of shipping the luggage quickly and discreetly. It was important not to worry the dragon parents, at the risk of creating a major embarrassment for the children.

The new fifth-year student also tried to enjoy his schooling as normal, despite the intrigue that was beginning to unfold. On the one hand, he wanted to ask his family for advice and answers, but on the other hand, no, he had to solve the problem alone with his sister.
Nolan left his common room to join the next class, meeting Helena and Professor Fig in the central hall. After an exchange about the latest events and the warning about ancient magic, the two Drakes set off together to Professor Ronen's room.

Nolan sat next to Ominis and Sebastian, but his sister hesitated to join him, as there was little room left beside them. She didn't want to bother the Slytherin trio squeezing for a seat next to her brother even if a certain young brunet didn't mind.

"There, behind you. There's an empty seat if you want it."
The ravenclaw turned and then saw a Gryffindor waving to take a seat next to her.
Much to Sebastian's disappointment, he couldn't have his new classmate's pretty sister by his side, he held back his frustration as he squeezed his point and inwardly shouted his frustration.

Ominis sighed at his friend's reaction, while Nolan patted the brunet on the shoulder to comfort him. Helena smiled at the happy Gryffindor girl and went to settle down, reassured that she had a seat.

"Thank you very much, that's very kind of you.

- You're welcome, my name's Natsai Onai but you can call me Natty. So you're the new student? Have you met Professor Ronen yet?"

Before she could answer, Helena had barely had time to nod as the professor began to clear his throat.

"Humm, humm. Are you ready?"
Ronen let out a small chuckle before resuming with a little entrance speech to the students.

"Welcome to Fifth Year. Now, this is a pivotal year in your apprenticeship in the art of sorcery. But I'm sure we'll conduct it with passion and the rigor necessary to rise to the challenge. "The teacher was cheerful to be lecturing.

"Right, everyone. Open your books on page five hundred and seventeen.
But, before we begin, would someone please tell me the difference between the incantations for the Color Change and Growth spells?" Questioned the teacher in front of the very silent students.

"Anyone? No, anyone? Hmm?"

Nolan was a little annoyed at not having a textbook, but fortunately Ominis offered him hers.

"You can have mine, you'll give it back to me as soon as you can. I'll share it with Sebastian.

- Thanks Ominis, that's nice of you. But is Sebastian going to be all right?

- Yeah, don't worry about him, it's not like he's using it much.

- Hey! I'm here, I'll have you know!

- Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you were here. I forget I'm blind." The blind man used a sarcastic tone towards his friend.

- Ha ha ... very funny Ominis," Sebastian said ironically.

Nolan held back a chuckle, then opened the book to the requested page. But he barely had time as the professor magically took it from his hands.

"Ah, ah ,ah. I'm afraid it's too late to revise now.
Hmmm ... The summer months have left their mark, I see. It's almost as if you've spent the vacations practicing your Memory Charms. Hahaha," laughed Ronen.
"Hmm... Well it looks like you're in dire need of revision. Find a partner and take up positions on opposite sides of the room.
Since you've apparently found no other use for them, you're going to use these books and try to draw them to you in turn."

The class began to pick up their textbooks and form groups.

"Well, since I'm invisible to you two, I'm off to find a real comrade who might just see me in action," Sebastian said melodramatically, causing his best friend to sigh.

Sebastian thought this was his chance to form a group with pretty Helena, and started to approach her, but luck wasn't smiling on him yet. The gryffindor went ahead of her comrade and took Helena with her to lead her outside. Natty turned slightly and stuck out his tongue, amused to see Sebastian raging at missing yet another opportunity and other comrades also disappointed at not being able to form a duo with the much sought-after newcomer.

"Hahaha too lame!"

It was Imelda who let out a haughty laugh at her comrade, so pitiful was he running around like a lapdog like so many others. It was true that the Slytherin girl was annoyed that conversations always turned to Drake, especially Helena. Imelda reluctantly admitted that her fellow ravenclaw was, admittedly, beautiful, to the point of envy, but those skills in which she excelled kept her head held high.

At least the new girl wasn't the type to boast or use her charms to manipulate others, which wouldn't have bothered Sacharissa Tugwood. The girl had been annoying the quidditch captain with those damned beauty products ever since her remark about not making herself look pretty enough by not using them. What the hell, her team wasn't going to win a match by looking good on the pitch, the Slytherin girl grumbled inwardly.

However, Imelda took a little pleasure in seeing her fellow Hufflepuff jealous and dethroned in popularity. She stood up, head held high and proud, to join her partner.

"Come on Poppy, let's not hang around here. I don't want to reek of losers' perfume."

The captain tugged at the arm of her shy comrade, who didn't dare contradict. The kindly Hufflepuff had been rather curious about the Drakes ever since she'd learned that the family had ties with dragons. There were rumors that they bred dragons on the protected estate. However, since 1709, the Wizarding Convention has forbidden the breeding of these creatures for various reasons, including their dangerousness. The Drakes, it seems, are the exception. Poppy was passionate about magical creatures, and her curiosity about dragons prompted her to ask Nolan and his sister about them, although she was careful not to mention this to Imelda, who made no secret of her annoyance with the family. Drake here, Drake there, Dragon there again, Helena and Nolan here... The little brunette partly understood her comrade, and it was best to wait for the attention to die down.

Frustrated, Sebastian gave his classmate a false smile and swivelled to quickly find a partner, but alas, most of the students had formed pairs and only Leander Prewett was left, which was even worse than anything else.
Yet another frustration for our Slytherin, it wasn't as if he had this Gryffindor very much in his heart.

Then the class continued outside for more practice.
Helena was getting on very well with Natty which made Nolan feel relieved before continuing the class with Ominis but the sight of the duel between Sebastian and Leander seemed a little explosive.

"Uh ... Ominis ... it seems I should have let Sebastian get with you ...

- No, don't worry, that'll teach him to rush things. As fate would have it, protecting your sister. Not that Sebastian isn't good to her. It's just that he looks ridiculous like that.

- Hahaha! No, but if he really wants to meet Helena I can...

- No, let him struggle on his own, it's much more fun," retorted Ominis.

"Okay, fine." chuckled the Slytherin.

The fifth-year class was outside practicing their Accio spell. The students were engaged in dueling attractions of enormous balls.
For some, this was a fun way of practising magic, and the two Drakes were doing pretty well, but they still needed a lot of practice and, above all, their own wand. For the moment, they were using borrowed wands before they could move on to the Ollivander store in Hogsmeade. They could have moved on to the Diagon Alley before the start of the new school year, but the Doyen felt it was dangerous for Helena and Nolan to be wandering the back alleys of London at that time.
Ronen's class came to an end and the young Ravenclaw was pleased with her learning thanks to Natty's help.

"It took me weeks to really master Accio or get anything right when I first arrived. It gets better with time. I promise.

- Thank you, I won't hesitate to see you if I ever need help," Helena thanked.

- I studied at Uagadou before coming here in my fourth year.

- But why did you have to change schools? I mean, if you don't mind my asking?
