Note : Hello !
Here's a new chapter with a bit of action.
I hope you enjoy it and happy reading.- - - - - - - -
"I think we've got everything we need. We can find Sebastian now. I hope he didn't wait too long." Nolan said to his sister, who nodded.
"Yes, we can find him. If he's been waiting a long time, we can buy him a glass of Butterbeer or something to eat. I'm sure he wouldn't mind a free drink," Helena suggested.
"Or can you offer him a kiss? There are plenty of boys willing to pay... Ouch, sorry, Hele! Please, I was only joking." begged the Slytherin, who was having his cheeks pinched by his disgruntled sister. She wasn't taking it badly coming from her brother, who teased him.
"I don't offer a kiss to just anyone Nono. But ...
- I'll buy you a lemon tart.
- Okay. "She gave her brother a kiss on his sore cheek before the two laughed together despite the stares.
The two young wizards continued on their way towards the village's central square, where the brown Slytherin was waiting, reading a book as he waited before putting it away when he caught sight of these two comrades.
"We're back! We've officially got everything we need. Sorry for the wait, I hope you didn't wait too long." apologized young Drake to the Slytherin.
"Very well, then. No, don't worry, I haven't waited so long that I've barely read a page of my book. " Sebastian was being modest so as not to embarrass the siblings.
"I think we waited too long at the bookshop looking for books in addition to school purchases.
- Really? And what kind of book did you get?
- I found a book with children's stories but I thought the illustrations were very pretty, so I bought it. And Helena took two romances, 'The Rose and the Snake' by Enoimard and 'The Moon Song' by Grango." Said Nolan with an innocent smile as Helena blushed.
"I see. I believe my sister has also read some of Enoimard's romances." Said Sebastian who saw Helena blushing, normally he would have teased her but he didn't want to make a bad impression even if the teasing was kind. Seeing that the girl smiled, relieved that she wasn't alone in buying such romance, made Seb proud to have reacted well. What's more, his inner self was screaming that Helena was blushingly cute. He wondered what his classmate's books were all about, maybe he'd ask his sister next time he visited.
"Oh! So the novel's popular. I should read it too...outch!"
Helena nudged her brother in the ribs to shut him up and change the conversation; Seb was amused by the action.
The Ravenclaw would have liked to ask about her sister's opinion on novels, but that would be dangerous for her.
"Hmm! So to make up for the wait and thank you for being our guide in Hogsmeade, we'll offer you a glass of Butterbeer or something to eat if you prefer after the visit." offered Helena, who tried to regain her composure in front of her comrade.
"That's nice, thank you! I wouldn't say no to a complimentary Butterbeer." exclaimed Seb happily.
"And did you find what you were looking for for your sister?" asked Helena.
"Yes. Well, I guess we're free as a bird now. Let's go and see what interesting things we can find." suggested the brown man, he thought of several interesting stores to do like Zonko and Honeyduke. But his thoughts were soon cut short by the deafening sound of a building being smashed, followed by wizards shouting in panic.
This startled the three Hogwarts students, who turned in the direction of the rapidly approaching noise.
Suddenly, a huge armoured troll appeared with a large sledgehammer, smashing the ground with a violent blow. The dark, red armor glowed with the same evil miasma as the necklace worn by the dragon that had attacked our two Drakes.
The troll seemed to be in a rage to attack anything that moved, and struck out at the wizards around him. As he tried to attack two witches, the trio cast offensive spells on the abominable creature to attract attention. He turned in black anger that his growl didn't mean a good thing. Sebastian and Nolan reflexively moved forward to protect Helena.
Suddenly, a large explosion struck the earth, stopping the attempted strike on our three wizards thanks to the arrival of the witch Singer, who ordered the other wizards with her to lure the troll out of the village to protect the buildings.
"Keep him away from the buildings! The village must be spared!" directed Officer Singer as the troll stalked away from the main square.
It was still too early for our three young wizards to catch their breath, however, as another troll in armour landed in the village square and swooped down on the trio to smash them with a club. Helena pushed Sebastian so that they could dodge the troll's attack.
"Are you all right, Sebastian?" Helena asked the boy worriedly, while her brother busied himself casting offensive spells and dodging the creature's attacks, bewitched by black magic, leaving the bird and snake to get back on their feet.
"Yes... I'm fine," he shook his head to regain his composure and get to his feet quickly. "Thank you, Helena. Let's not dawdle, we've got to help your brother take down that troll. Between the three of us, we've got a chance." said Sebastian in a tone determined to fight the troll.
"Yes!" nodded the blond head, her worried expression of the beginning changed to one of seriousness, and she was ready to fight alongside her brother and Seb. She didn't want to be a pushover or a bother. Her mother Reyna is a strong woman and had made sure that her daughter was just as tenacious and able to defend herself since a terrible event.
Helena positioned herself to form an attack triangle with the two Slytherins.
"Confrigo! This way to the troll!" shouted Sebastian, launching a fiery attack before dodging the monster's charge and crashing into a low stone wall. While the troll was disturbed, the three young sorcerers bombarded it with magical blows.
"Are we weakening it at least a little?" asked Nolan.
"Keep it up! We'll wear him down in the end." replied the dark-haired Slytherin, who continued his attacks.
The trio of young sorcerers used a series of attacks, shields and dodges against the troll, but it was more difficult than normal to bring down the village terror, despite the many magical blows they dealt him. Nolan surmised that the evil armor made the creature tougher and smarter to fight.
Even so, the trio managed to hold their own against the abominable creature. Helena dodged a large barrel and swung it at the troll, which struck its head.
"What was that?" exclaimed Seb.
"I'm giving him back his money's worth!" replied Helena with a proud smile.
"Not bad, Drake! "exclaimed Seb before narrowly avoiding the troll's new charge. "Missed you big oaf, you'll have to do better to get me!" mocked the Slytherin.
The troll growled angrily at Sebastian, but instead of attacking him again, the brunet turned to Nolan and swung his club, which glowed an evil red.
"Protego!" shielded the Slytherin, the boy had already used the defensive spell against the troll's blows but this time the shield failed to resist and shattered.
"Nolan!" cried the other two young wizards.
"Cursed troll! Confringo!" shouted Seb, taking charge of the creature while Helena rushed to her brother.
"I'm fine..." breathed the Slytherin who had managed to narrowly dodge a fatal blow after his shield had shattered yet he had a small scratch on his left shoulder.
"It's nothing serious, Hele. Let's get on with it! Seb won't last long. I have the impression that the troll is becoming more and more dangerous. It's probably because he's getting dangerously close to his limit." reassured the Slytherin, who rose to his sister's side.
"Yes. Together! Let's give it our all." said Helena in a determined tone. Fear for her brother dissipated and was replaced by determination to overcome the danger. Our two Drakes took up the fight again, launching an onslaught of magical blows until a sensation of intense magic awakened within them. The sensation of ancient magic they'd felt at Gringotts manifested itself once again. The connection with ancient magic was much clearer and more fluid than with the borrowed wands. A flow of other magic emanated from both wands and whispers of voices echoed in their minds.
Without looking at each other, Nolan and Helena were in sync, guided to use the ancient magic. Both made the same gestures, gathering a mass of magic in their left hands before grasping the tip of their wands to transmit the charge of magic. When it was done, the two Drakes raised their wands in the troll's direction and projected the ancient magic attack together, causing the creature to explode from within, disintegrating into evil ash and black smoke that quickly dissipated before Sebastian's stunned eyes and the arrival of the adult wizards witnessing the scene.
"By Merlin! A second troll?! You three managed to defeat an adult troll?!" exclaimed the uniformed witch.
"Well ... I guess we did. To be honest, it's still a bit hazy... But it was by the three of us working well together that we managed to defeat the troll." said Nolan still a little bewildered by what he'd just done with his sister, who was in the same state as him.
"By Merlin's beard. Are you all right?
"Yes, we're fine. I think it's just the adrenaline kicking in, nothing serious. It was a pleasure to be of service." Helena reassured the worried adult about the youngsters' condition.
"You weren't just being helpful. Guts like that are worthy of an Auror, no doubt about it." complimented Officer Singer to make both Drakes blush and Sebastian smile.
"There was no way we were going to let a troll ransack the wonderful village of Hogsmeade," said the other brown Slytherin. "The three of us sure made a good team," added Sebastian, puffing out his chest proudly.
The trio was proud of what they'd accomplished in confronting the troll to protect the village. Yet the dark-haired Slytherin had been impressed by the magical ability of our two new wizards to crush the troll, even though they'd only been learning magic for a short time. An ability hidden by the Drake family? So many questions he liked to have answered. He suspected certain things that made the Drake family intriguing.
"Nolan, you need to take a wiggenweld potion to heal your wound. I still have a potion from Professor Fig." approaching his brother with the healing vial to give him, knowing him, he was going to refuse thinking it was nothing and just a scratch.
"Thanks, Hele. " thanked the Slytherin, who drank the healing brew at the risk of incurring his sister's wrath if he didn't take the potion.
"Helena! You're bleeding too!" remarked Sebastian, the small wound on the girl's arm seemingly unnoticed.
"Oh ... I hadn't noticed ..." said the girl annoyed at having hurt herself. "It's no big deal. I can go to the infirmary or to Mr. Pippins to buy a healing potion." said softly, remembering that she had given her last potion to her brother.
"Hele... You should have used the potion for yourself and not for me ." said the brother annoyed at having drunk the healing potion when his sister needed it too.
"No, Nolan! Your wound was much worse than mine. It's just a graze! "the blonde girl countered. The siblings were always worrying about each other and always trying to put one ahead of the other.
"Take it easy, you two. We're not going to have a whole debate about who has the worse wound." bellowed seb, who was trying to calm the two Drakes. "You can have mine. I always carry a healing potion with me." said the dark-haired Slytherin, who handed it to Helena.
"But what about you? Are you hurt too? I don't want to take your potion when you also need..." the girl said worriedly.
"No, look. I'm just fine. I'm stronger than I look. Also, the troll was more interested in you two than in me. "he remarked. He found the creature's behavior odd. Why had it taken more of a shine to our two dragon companions?
Seb was cut off from his thoughts when Helena came up to him and examined him to see that he had no wounds. He blushed as he felt her gentle hands touch him. His heart pounded as she touched the boy's arms, pulling up his sleeves so he wouldn't hide any injury. The Slytherin could smell the lavender perfume she wore today. The other day, he could smell the scent of lilies.
He wanted this moment to last longer, however, when their eyes met, Helena blushed as she realized she was touching her brother's friend a little too directly.
If Lavender were here, he'd have cried out in jealousy and checked the Slytherin's wounds for himself rather than let his rival take advantage of the beautiful ravenclaw.
"Oh ... sorry Sebastian ... It's rude of me to ..." apologized the girl who looked away a little embarrassed by her action.
"Uh, no, Helena. It's nothing. Don't worry. It's nothing. You can touch me freely..." the boy felt like crying out in shame as he rethought those last words were too weird and could make him feel uncomfortable. He tried to rectify the conversation. "Humm! I mean, you can see I don't have any wounds, so you can take the potion."
The ravenclaw girl nodded reluctantly at having to use the Slytherin's potion. "Thanks again ... I'll bring you a healing potion to pay you back. "she smiled gently. Then she drank the potion, which healed her small wound with a snap of her finger.
"Right, let's tidy up the place and go for a drink to celebrate our victory!" exclaimed Nolan to chase away the tension.
-
After tidying up the place with the reparo spell, the group was called into Gladrags Wizardwear. Augustus Hill, the store's manager, was keen to thank our three students for their courage and determination in the face of adversity, by presenting them each with a suit of clothing.
Of course, Mr. Hill was quick to compliment Helena's beauty, which inspired him to design beautiful outfits for the girl. She was like a muse who deserved magnificent dresses to make her even more beautiful. Nolan and Sebastian back up the compliments for Helena that she was also entitled to beautiful outfits.
"Thank you, boys. It means a lot to me." thanked the girl with pink cheekbones.
Once finished in the clothing store, our three wizards headed in the direction of Sirona's tavern, but Nolan's gaze was drawn to the side when he saw a man in a hat go into a dark alley to join a terrible presence. He recognized the goblin Rannrok.
Helena and Sebastian followed the Slytherin's gaze to also see the same thing, our three young wizards quickly hid behind a wall and discreetly observed the dangerous discussion.
"You said you'd take care of the child when he got to Hogsmeade.
That all you needed was a diversion. I gave you a diversion!" said the goblin annoyed at Rookwood's failure to eliminate the two Drakes.
"And I saw two kids eliminate your 'diversion'!
Who are these kids? What are you hiding from me? " retorted the wizard, who was also annoyed. The questions were enough to irritate the goblin, who didn't want to answer.
"All you need to know is that if you don't want to take care of the child, then you're of no use to me." replied Rannrok fiercely before sensing that they were being watched, he tried to look around for the observers.
"Let's go!" said Nolan, quickly signaling his sister and friend to leave before they were spotted.
"Did they see us?
- No, I don't think they did.
What was that goblin doing with Victor Rookwood?" asked the young dark-haired wizard, even more worried by what he'd just seen.
"Is Rannrock in league with Rookwood? " surmised the Drake boy.
"I think so too Nolan..." validated his sister.
"The goblin from the Sorcerer's Gazette? I knew I'd seen it before.
Hurry up. We've got to get to the Three Broomsticks." Empressed the Slytherin, who came up behind Helena to cover her rear as a protective brother reflex.
Our three students quickly entered the famous tavern of Hogsmeade.
"It's a pleasure to see you, Lodgok. I'll let you know if I hear anything." said the tavern manager to a soft-spoken goblin.
"Thank you, Sirona." thanked Lodgok, who left the tavern, crossing paths with our three wizards.
"Well, what do I... Oh!
These are two unfamiliar faces.
- We've never been here before.
- You're welcome. It's on me. I'm Sirona Ryan, manager of the Three Broomsticks," smiles Sirona.
"I heard about the attack. It's terrible! I'll pay a visit to the other shopkeepers as soon as I can.
Glad to see you're all right." Sirona was worried about the others, but seeing how well the youngsters were doing, she thought the other shopkeepers might have escaped the worst.
"Thanks to these two, they managed to take down a troll....
"Don't be modest, Sebastian. You helped us a lot and took part in the fight too. It helped us a lot to defeat the troll." retorted Nolan, who didn't want the glory to go entirely to him and his sister. His friend had helped him a lot and deserved the praise too.
"Yes. Without you, the victory might not have happened." echoed Helena with a supportive smile.
"Ah Really? Well done to the three of you then." the tervenist served the trio a nice cold drink for their bravery of which.
"Thanks, that's nice." thanked Helena, who could hardly believe the troll attack. She'd thought she and her brother were going to keep a low profile, but it was not to be. The troll attack was going to make them the talk of the town. But for now, she enjoyed a quiet drink of her Butterbeer.
"You're welcome. Still... trolls in Hogsmeade? That's never happened before.
It's just not normal.
The only bullies we usually deal with..." she didn't finish her sentence as Rockwood entered the tavern with his right-hand man.
"Speak of the devil..." she said unenthusiastically.
"Was that Lodgok I just saw leave?
Your clientele isn't what it used to be, Sirona." criticizes the wizard in a haughty tone, looking around before spotting the trio trying to keep a low profile.
"Don't worry, Victor. Once you're out of here, the quality of my clientele will be all the better." retorted the manager of the establishment, whose retort didn't please the other scoundrel, who took out his wand to correct him for having mocked them.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Theophilus," threatened Sirona, whose other wizarding customers were staring balefully at the two bandits.
"Come, come. Let's calm down a bit. I've come simply for these people..." Rockwood said as he tried to ease the tension, stepping forward from the trio to get a better look at their faces and analyze them. Despite the fact that the two snakes were standing in front of Helena to protect her. The sorcerer was soon drawn to the girl's beautiful face.
"How lovely, valiant knights to protect the beautiful.... hmmm it's true that she's very pretty ... A pretty face ... and much more ... a body in the making ..." The sorcerer's voice was slow, as if he were enjoying observing the pretty young witch.
Helena was uncomfortable and knew all too well that perverse look of a man who wanted her, which repulsed her. He wanted to touch her and do terrible things that the blonde could feel these attentions on the expression on his face. Rockwood licked his lips, which made the Drake girl's blood run cold. It disgusted and annoyed Hele, he looked at her lustfully with such perversion.
Normally, he didn't like children, but he made a few exceptions for beautiful young witches.
Although Hele was still a young student, he thought the sixteen-year-old had the allure of an attractive young woman, and he suspected that with the years to come she would become even more sublime than that, making some men lose their senses.
Since her puberty at thirteen, her body had rapidly metamorphosed into a beauty worthy of her great-aunt Amélia. Now men and boys were beginning to look at her differently, which frightened the girl but also fueled her anger at being seen as a prize to be won to satisfy men's sexual urges.
Hele looked away for two seconds, disgusted by his gaze, before facing Rockwood again with a look of defiance and anger that showed she wasn't afraid of him and was rejecting him.
Unfortunately, this defiance did not have the desired effect of cooling the sorcerer's desire but, on the contrary, further fanned the flames of lust.
Victor's attitude was enough to irritate the two Slytherin boys, who were well aware of the wizard's ulterior motives.
"We don't want you here Rockwood!
- I forbid you to go near my sister or you ..."
- Or what, kid?" growled Rockwood angrily at the two little guard dogs.
"Let my customers enjoy a Butterbeer in peace and quiet." threatened Sirona.
"I just want to talk to the Miss."
- I'm not interested in talking to you." retorted Helena, who refused to argue with a man who disgusted her.
"You must not have heard me. This person is busy. If you're going to bother my customers, then get out of here! "The manager's threats grew louder as the tavern's wizards stood up and drew their wands.
"Haven't you had enough violence for one day?
Come along, Theophilus. The three broomsticks aren't what they used to be. They don't deserve our Gallions.
This Butterbeer won't last forever. " said the wizard curtly, making it clear that he wasn't about to let go of our two Drakes.
"We'll see you again, Miss..." added a final sentence to Hele, who knew that Rookwood wasn't about to let her go any time soon, now that she'd caught his eye.
Then, with her right hand, they left the tavern, leaving the trio in peace to breathe a sigh of relief.
"Looks like you've got a formidable enemy. Watch out for them. Rookwood and Harlow are more terrible than any troll." the witch warned the young sorcerers.
"Yes, we'll be careful. Thanks again for everything Sirona. " thanked Nolan before turning to Seb.
"Trolls, Rannrok and Rookwood? What are you two hiding from me?" questioned the Slytherin filled with wonder about these comrades. He suspected that hanging out with them wouldn't be a quiet year, but he didn't mind.
"I promise I'll tell you all about it, but I'd rather save it for later," Nolan apologized to his friend. He didn't like keeping things from him when Seb had helped them so well. For the moment, Helena seemed to want some peace and quiet after this trying day. The boy suspected that the use of ancient magic had taken its toll on his sister, and on him too.
Seeing Helena look gray, the Slytherin nodded.
"And on that note, I think we should head back to the castle.
I'm glad we saw Sirona. I told you she was nice.
- She was. She didn't seem at all intimidated by Rookwood and Harlow.
-You'll have to explain to me why Victor Rookwood has a grudge against you. We'll talk about that later. Right now, we need to get back to the castle.
Professor Weasley will soon know about the troll attack, if he hasn't already.
I don't want to be late and end up in detention again," said Sebastian.
Our three students set off for a cautious return to school, taking the floo network to avoid encountering any danger on the way back.
