Sorry, I am late.
This September gives me some time, so that I could get back on to regular updates. Okay?
Many of you won't accept Dev’s behaviour here but understand that he is like that.
Anyways, for now, enjoy reading this and wait for the next update 😅🥲
Past.
“Mrs. Thakur looks so cool today after so long,” Henry teased me as I waved at my classmates with a huge smile.
I shrugged.
“Did you resolve the issues with your husband?” Noah asked.
I bobbed my head continuously. They chuckled.
“I know he was kind of rude to me, but I understood him. He was away from his family. He wanted to be with his family, but my childish act made it difficult for him to spend time with them two months ago. When I miscarried, I understood it was difficult for him too. Mental pain is more torturous than physical pain. He was in guilt for not taking enough care. He was guilty again for not being by my side. He was once again in guilt for the misunderstandings. I have you all and my family, but he is alone there. It will be so inconsiderate if I do this to him when all he does is care for me.” Playing with my fingers, I murmur, “I love him a lot.”
They smile.
“Is she the one?” Someone whispered behind me. Furrowing my brows, I tilted my head and found two girls whispering about me.
“What’s wrong with them?” I whispered, shaking my head. “Anyways, let's head to the class.” They nodded, and we all together went into the classroom when everyone started whispering as soon as they saw me.
I gulped. “Are they talking about me?” Rachel held my palm, caressing softly.
“Leave about them. Let's take our seats.” Nodding at her, I sat between Rachel and Henry.
Liam, who seemed to be always interested in me, turned his head to look at me. I smiled slightly, and he smirked.
What was that?
“Henry, I don't want to be here.” I told him, looking around. “I am not uncomfortable.”
“So, shall we leave?”
Stroking my inner cheek, I stood up to leave, but the professor walked inside and took my seat again.
He started the lessons while I tried to pay attention, but I couldn't as one or the other were zeroing in on me. I gulped.
“Ignore them,” Elena muttered when we were finished with the lecture.
Lucas came forward and looked at me lovingly like a brother. “You stay here. I will try to know what happened,” he patted my head as he walked away.
