Furrowing my brows, I felt a twinge of annoyance at my Mom, who persisted in peppering me with questions about my safety gear, the riding conditions, and steering clear of any risky behaviors. It was as though she thought I was heading into battle instead of just ten minutes down the road at my friend's place.
"Jeez, Mom!" I whined in nuisance, "Please! I'm hardly gonna be a while away!" Rolling my eyes, I reassured her, "I would be back by 9. No need to be a worrywart!"
As if my words fell on deaf ears, I found Mom approaching me, later on; a pair of Photochromic Goggles grasped in her hands.
"Honey, I've interchanged the lenses as per the current light conditions," She stated as she passed them to me while I only stared at her, dumbfounded.
As I hastily decided to make my way out of the house, not sparing a single moment now for another wave of questions and instructions, I felt a gentle tug on my arm that made me let out another whine.
Then, my Mom tenderly placed a peck on my forehead and whispered, "Drive safely, Kookie,"

Passing a series of unnecessary struggles, I finally got to my Harley Davidson, which Cody might have already parked in our spacious driveway, offering ample expanse for parking numerous vehicles. A multitude of cars belonging to my brothers welcomed my vision. Since Yoongi Hyung left for an airline to Washington, earlier that evening, so did one of his cars. Apart from Jin Hyung and I, none of them seemed to be intrigued by bikes, though Jimin Hyung exhibited a slight curiosity as well. He is not very inquisitive about cars, despite owning one.
Taehyung owned an SUV, whereas Namjoon Hyung also acquired a car but needed a driver, now and then to accompany him, due to his astigmatism, which complicated driving for him. Consequently, he never really preferred to obtain a license.
Among us, Hobi Hyung owned the most expensive car, all summed up being the wealthiest Hyung of mine. Moving over to Jin Hyung, he's known to be an enthusiast for sports cars and possesses a vast collection of cars, at least, boasting 12 cars to date. Although one of his video game cars called the McLaren Solus GT has been showcased on the driveway.
Adjusting the strap of my goggles securing enough to fit my head, snugly I placed them over my eyes, making sure them being centered and aligned properly. Afterward, allowing the strap to move under my black helmet once I put it on. The foam padding created a seal around my eyes to block out wind and debris, hopefully.
