Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai - Part I

Author's Note: Hi lovely readers! Hope everything is good with y'all. As always, I am so fed up with the recent track regarding Abhira and Akshara's relationship truth and am here to write a two shot for the same. I was so upset when they showed the whole track as Manish's dream, but you know the makers, they never fail to disappoint us. If y'all want me to write on any particular storyline/idea, please feel free to leave a comment and I will try incorporating it to the best of my ability :)

Assumptions:

- This two shot will start from the recent episode of one of Abhimaan's wedding functions where Abhira's "family" is supposed to bring gifts. Just like the episode, Manish shows up with plenty of gifts and Kaveri and Sanjay question his relationship to Abhira.

-The fact that Abhira is Akshara's daughter is known by Manish and everything else is the same till this episode.

Sanjay (to Abhira) - How much money did your mom leave for you?

Manoj - Who got these things?

Abhira sees Manish and says Parnanu. Manish comes with Suwarna and Surekha. Everyone smiles.

Manish - Abhira's Maayka has come and now the rasam will happen.

Abhira cries and hugs him.

Sanjay - you are very smart, people cunningly dupe other's money, but you have looted Ruhi's family, you trapped them well, so you got a family.

Manish (shouts) - Enough. Don't you have any sense? This girl is shedding so many tears and you cannot keep your mouth shut. We all know what happened to her parents and she has told you all multiple times that she does not have any family. Where is your humanity?

Sanjay - Oh please Manish Ji, why do you care so much? What is your relationship with this orphan girl that you are speaking in such a disrespectful tone with your grand daughters in-laws. Tell us Manish Ji, what is your rishta with Abhira?

Manish (v angry) - MERI BACCHI HAI YEH, MERI AKSHARA KI BETI [SHE IS MY DAUGHTER, MY AKSHARA'S DAUGHTER]

Everyone gets shocked hearing this statement especially Ruhi, Swarna and Surekha as they have managed to piece two and two together. Meanwhile, the rest of the family including Abhira looks confused. Ruhi takes a step back in shock and is about to fall, but is held by Rohit.

Abhira (broken voice) - What? What do you mean by your Akshara? What was her relationship with you?

Armaan goes towards Abhira and holds her hand. Abhira looks towards Armaan in gratitude.

Manish - Akshara...Actually Akshu was my elder granddaughter. The daughter of my son Kartik and his first wife.

Kaveri - What are you saying Manish Ji? Is Abhira's mother the same granddaughter you had kicked out of your house many years ago?

Manish looks down in shame, too guilty to meet Abhira's eyes knowing that his Akshu is no more.

Swarna - Manish Ji, please speak up. I am getting impatient. Kya Abhira hamari Akshu ki hai? [is Abhira our Akshu's daughter]

Ruhi (hurt) - Your Akshu? When did she become your Akshu Badimumma?

Swarana - Woh Ruhi...

Manish - One second Swarna, I will clear everyone's confusion right now. Yes, Abhira is my grand daughter Akshara and her second husband Abhinav Sharma's daughter.

Abhira (in shock, breathing heavily) - This can't be possible. My mumma said she had no family and never spoke about any of you.

Armaan - Abhira, calm down. Take a deep breath in and breathe out. I am sure parnanu can explain everything to you.

Manish (nods) - Yes beta [takes out a family photograph]. Look at this photo. Look at your parents with all of us.

Abhira (snatches the photo from Manish's hand) - What are my parents doing with all of you? I don't understand?

Manish - Abhira bacche, you are our great granddaughter. You are a goenka, you are part of our family. You will never be alone now. You and Ruhi are sisters. Your mothers were sisters.

Ruhi (furious) - Step sisters, B Nanu, Step sisters.

Swarna - Ruhi, stay in your limits. Don't talk to B Nanu like this. Akshara and Aarohi both were our granddaughters, our son Kartik's daughters.

Sanjay - That means what Ruhi's is also Abhira's? This girl is not an orphan after all.

Armaan and Manish - Fufasa! Sanjay Ji!

Kaveri glares at Sanjay and he understands that she will be furious if he says anything else. Kaveri surprisingly understands the gravity of the situation.

Kaveri - Manish Ji, you told us about Akshara's mom, what about Aarohi's mom?

Manish - While both Akshara and Aarohi are Kartik's daughters, Akshara's mom was Naira Singhania, who died in a tragic accident when Akshu was 5 months old and Aarohi's mom was Sirat Shekawat, a lookalike of Naira.

Kaveri (shocked) - Naira Singhania? Akshara aur Naitik Singhania ki beti?

Manish - Yes, she was the daughter of Akshara and Naitik Sighania. But wait, one minute how do you know about Naira.

Kaveri - Naira was my best friend. We grew up together in Rishikesh. I did not know that so much happened with her family. Naksh ne kabhi bataya hi nahi.

Swarna - Naksh, do you know where Naksh is? Or Naksh's wife Keerti?

Kaveri - Yes, they are in Australia. They don't come to India anymore because of what happened with their family. Wait, but Keerti is your daughter right? Keerti Goenka Singhania, Naira ke pati Kartik ki behen thi right? That means Abhira meri Naira ki poti hai?

Abhira (holding her head) - I don't understand anything that is happening. Who is Keerti? And Naira? Meri Mumma Ki Mumma?

Ruhi has had enough by then. She storms towards Abhira and slaps her.

Armaan - Ruhi. What the fuck. How dare you. Step behind.

Ruhi - No Armaan. Today I will not step behind. This is what she deserves.

Abhira - What do you mean Ruhi? Parnanu ne kaha na hum sisters hai.

Ruhi (screaming, on the verge of a breakdown) - No we are not sisters. We are not sisters at all. You cannot be my sister. You must be the granddaughter of Kartik Goenka and Naira Singhania, the grand niece of Naksh and Keerti Singhania and the daughter of Akshara Goenka, but you are not my sister. I am Ruhi Aarohi Birla and you can never be my sister because of what you and your mom have done to me.

Rohit - Ruhi, please calm down. What are you saying to Abhira Bhabi?

Ruhi - First her mom snatched everything from me. Then she snatched everything from me. Her mom first killed my dada, then my matashree and then took away Abhir and my poppy from me. Now Abhira has snatched my b-nanu and my love Armaan from me. She can never be my sister.

Manish - Ruhi, Abhira has not snatched anything from you. She is as related to me as she is to you. And Armaan loves Abhira, open your eyes Ruhi.

Rohit - B Nanu, Ruhi knows and she has moved on. She is ready to make a fresh start with me.

Manisha - Is that so Ruhi? Is that why you stole Abhira's ring?

Kaveri - What are you saying Manisha?

Ruhi (screaming) - Yes, I stole Armaan's ring. Because I still love him. I will always love him. I am only here to win him back. But this khooni Akshara's daughter has snatched him from me. I will not forgive you or your murderer mom.

Ruhi goes to strangle Abhira. Armaan and Manish separate the two but Ruhi pushes Manish. Manish is about to fall but a man, about 50 years of age catches him. Two more men enter the house and hold Manish, while the first man turns Ruhi around and slaps her. All the Goenka's and Ruhi are shocked to see the man. As Ruhi opens her mouth to say something, the man slaps her again...
