As they exit the street where the Poddar Mansion lies, Abhira, Armaan and Madhav are hopeful for the future that lies ahead of them as a family. They keep walking and walking in silence until they finally reach Shivani's house.
Madhav - Freshen up you two. I am going to buy some clothes and groceries, as I did not have time to pack my things in all this chaos.
Abhira - It's okay Papa. We'll make a fresh start.
Armaan simply nods as Madhav heads out.
Abhira turns to look at him.
Abhira - Armaan, are you okay? You have not uttered a single word since we left.
Armaan doesn't say anything and heads to the room. Abhira becomes worried as she can feel his inner turmoil. She thinks to herself "Armaan has to open up, he has to express his emotions or they will eat him up"
Abhira decides to change into a comfortable pair of clothes. When she returns from the bathroom, she finds Armaan staring at something on his phone. She moves closer towards him and sees him staring at the photograph of a happy Poddar family.
Abhira - Armaan, it is okay to miss them.
Armaan [nods] - I miss them so much already, but today I really wonder if they really considered me as their own.
Abhira - Ofcourse Armaan, why would you think otherwise.
Armaan - Abhira, I have always felt like a misfit in this family. Even though they adopted me into their family, they always had something or the other to say about me. I don't think their love was genuine, I think it was convenient. When they felt like showering me with love they did, when they wanted to pamper me, they did. But it was all according to their convenience. Ma always prioritized Rohit as he was the younger one. I never said anything that I was grateful that they accepted me, but at what cost. They always decided what is best for me, what I should do, and what I should not. Being the eldest son, you would expect me to get married first right? But who did they chose, they chose Rohit to get married to Ruhi because afterall he is their old blood. What I don't understand is, that I am their own blood too. I am a poddar and I am equally related to all of them just like rohit is, except Maa ofcourse. Why did they always mistreat me when all I gave them was love and respect? I have made so many compromises and sacrifices for them and for what? I guess I was always insecure of losing their love and support, but I did not realise that I never had it at all.
Abhira - Oh Armaan, I never knew you felt like this. I can't imagine how you must have been living in fear every second of your life, worrying about losing your family or disappointing them.
Armaan - Abhira, until you came along, I didn't know what it felt like to be loved by someone unconditionally. I think only Dad loved me unconditionally and his support for us today makes me feel so special. I don't know how he lives without my mom, because I would never be able to live without you.
Abhira - Shush Armaan, your Abhira is not going anywhere. She is here to haunt you for the rest of your life.
Armaan - Okay Sherni.
As he says this, Abhira starts chasing behind him and they run into the living room, acting like kids. Madhav who has just returned with groceries and new clothes, has tears in his eyes after seeing this moment. He quickly takes out his phone and captures a picture.
Madhav - You two! Stop fooling around. Let's have dinner, I got some delicious Chinese takeout.
Abhira - OMG yummy, thank you papa. You are the best person alive.
Armaan - what about me?
Abhira - Oye khadoosman, you are the second best.
Armaan - Papa, it looks like she is your daughter first and then my wife.
Madhav - Ofcourse, isn't it Abhira beta.
Abhira - Yes papa, now khadoosman, if you are done being jealous of your father can we quickly eat this yummy food before it gets cold?
Armaan - Yes Ma'am!!
Three of them enjoyed their dinner, laughed a lot and finally retreated to their respective bedrooms. As Abhira was going to brush her teeth, Armaan quickly pushed her against the wall. Without hesitating, he then moved his lips towards her and kissed her desperately. The kiss was hungry and fiesting. It was like he was claiming her as his and he was never going to let her go. As they broke apart, Abhira's cheeks turned red and she went into the bathroom due to her shyness. When Abhira returned, Armaan had already fallen asleep. She went beside him and kissed his forehead. She then snuggled under the blanket and spooned Armaan.
The next morning, Madhav wakes up the sleepy love birds whose bodies are entangled together. He announces that the three of them will move to Bangalore as Madhav has been transferred there. The next few days go in packing and finishing pending things in Udaipur and Armaan and Abhira grow closer and closer, consummating their relationship. They take a train to Bangalore, reach their rented house and begin unpacking their things. While Armaan and Madhav are out to get some groceries and essentials for the house, Abhira is unpacking her stuff from Mussoorie. She finds some of her mom's belongings and grows emotional. At the bottom of the suitcase, she seeks a black diary with something popping out. She takes the diary in her hands and pulls out the paper that in popping out. When the paper is in her hands, she realizes that it is the back of a photo. She turns the photo and the faces of the people in the photo shock her. It is a photo of her mumma, her dad and par nanu, swarna aunty and two people she doesn't recognise (a small boy and a man who are wearing matching doctors scrubs. She scrunches her eyebrows in confusion and she wonders why her parents look so happy with these people? These people are ruhi's family, what is the relationship between ruhi's family and mumma-dada? Abhira has so many questions but the only person who can answer them has gone far away from this world. In that moment, Abhira decides that she needs answers to her questions immediately and ignores the warning sign on the diary that says "akshu's diary - please don't touch or read".
Abhira [looking at akshu's photo] - i'm sorry mumma, but i have to read your diary to understand this photo.
Abhira starts reading the diary and tears start flowing out of her eyes as she learns about the suffering that akshu had to go through because of aarohi, the goenkas, abhimanyu and the birlas. She then understands that her mom is the grand daughter of manish goenka and half sister of aarohi (ruhi's mother). Abhira feels bad for the way her mom has been treated and as she continues to read about how no one trusted her, anger starts building up in her heart.
Abhira - I will never forgive you Manish Goenka. You were never my par-nanu and you can never be. You lost the right when you threw my pregnant mom out of the house for a crime she did not even commit.
When Armaan and Madhav return, Abhira narrates the information that she just became aware of. Both of them are shocked and surprised and reassure Abhira that they are always by her side. Abhira is grateful to have two loving men who care so much about her. The next few days go in settling in and Armaan and Abhira finding jobs. Once they find jobs, Madhav supports them in every way possible, making it much easier for them to focus on work. The two of them work long hours, but make sure to spend quality time together and with Madhav too. All of them are slowly moving on from the Poddars.
Manoj and Manisha, who are fed up with the constant nagging from Kaveri, feel suffocated in the Poddar house. When they discuss this with Kiara and Aryan, they too express a desire to leave this house, due to the strict and controlling nature that is not allowing them to do the things that they want to do. Manoj makes a decision to leave the family and calls Madhav. Madhav supports him and helps him find a new job in Mumbai with the help of Armaan.
