After Sam agreed to marry Zach despite his father's disapproval, the wedding preparations began in a rush. Of course, there was still that doubt that his father would do something again but after three months of silence, plus his mother's approval, he slowly felt at ease especially when things had been going so smoothly.

"I gave birth to a boy but here you are... You're the prettiest bride I've ever seen," Mrs. Abiñon said with a smile as she reached out for Sam's face. "I know I wasn't the kindest mother to you but believe me that I love you, my son," she added. Her eyes a little bit teary, making Sam felt touched that his eyes began to feel hot as well.

"Don't say that Mom. I know you only want what was best for me," Sam replied before he leaned down to hug his mom. "I love you Mom. And Dad too even though he's not here," he added. Even though it hurts that his didn't come despite the invitation, he still hope that one day his family will be one again. It might not be now but someday for sure it will happen.

"Sorry about your Dad. I told him, but he's being stubborn again. But don't worry, he's slowly accepting it... It'll just a matter of time before he comes to see you himself. He may seem cold but he won't be able to resist you and his grandchildren," Mrs. Abiñon sighed helplessly to which made Sam nod.

"I hope so," Same replied.

"Now now, don't worry about that old man and focus. Today is your wedding day," Mrs. Abiñon reminded. They are actually in a car right now so when she saw that they've arrived to the church, she smiled. On the other hand, looking outside, Sam immediately felt nervous. To be honest, the wedding was actually just for formality and he and Zach already signed the legal documents three months ago so Zach is actually already his legal husband but for some reason, attending a ceremony was actually quite nerve wrecking that he couldn't seem to focus.

"Right," Sam muttered nervously, as their service pulled over and soon his mom came out. He didn't even know what came next because everyone was so busy with the organizers. He only waited for a few minutes but it felt like he's been inside the car for more than an hour. It's like he's in a time capsule where the time moves slower. Each millisecond felt like forever. If the twins were with him, it would have been fine but sadly they're not and was preparing separately.

"It's time," Mrs. Abiñon called, opening the door to fetch him. "Come on, your groom is waiting for you," she added with a gentle smile offering her hand. Sam looked at his mom which woke him up from the spell he thought he was in. Unfortunately, now that he had escape the time capsule, now, his brain quickly went into vacation as he walked towards the massive door of church waiting for it to open. He didn't know what to think and it seemed like he had lost most of his senses aside from feeling his own heart smashing against his ribs.

"Ready? Remember not to hold your breath," Mrs. Abiñon whispered lightly seeing that her son has become stiff. Alas, it seems her words flew out of the window as Sam remained frozen on his spot. He couldn't help it. He too didn't expect he would feel this way. After all, all of this was just something he dreamed of when he was younger. Marrying your ultimate crush, who's else is lucky enough to have experienced what he did. It wasn't easy but all the hardships somehow became worth while.

"Get ready... and 3, 2, 1..." the organizer said and on cue, the door opened and music began to play. All eyes were on Sam which normally he would hate but at this moment, in fact the very moment the door opened, his eyes immediately locked at the very person he never thought one day he would call his.

[🎶One look at you
My whole life falls in line
I prayed for you
Before I called you mine🎶

The first time he acknowledged his feelings for Zach, he knew it was going to be unrequited. At the time, it was the most natural thing to think. Zach was straight and he had a fiancé. But... Here they are now... Sometimes, he wakes up in the middle of the night wishing he wasn't dreaming all of it. And when he finds Zach sleeping next to him, hugging him and mumbling his name, he'd smile thanking God that his wish had come true.
