Electricity and Plants? A Good Combination ?

It was a quite big mansion. I've searched every single room. There was a kitchen, three bathrooms and like five bedrooms. The stairs are also noticeably big. You could say it's a palace in a single house.

"Aaah!" I heard Hope screaming. Guess those two are awake. I ran towards the noise and reached the room they were in. I walked inside and couldn't believe my eyes.

The boy was surrounded by electric and was choking Hope. Max was holding the girl in a bubble, who was trying to break out of it.

"Regan! Help Hope!" Max yelled at me. I sighed and walked towards the boy.

"Please calm down. We want to help you two lovebirds." I looked from to boy to the girl and back to the boy.

"How the fuck would you guys do that?" He looked angry choking Hope even further.

"We are also superhumans, you are not alone in this." I looked at him, trying to convince him to let Hope loose.

"You don't know what we have experienced, you don't know the whole story!" The electric energy became bigger, and bigger, and bigger. It didn't stop.

"Then explain it to us! We want the same things you folks want. Justice!" The growing stopped and little by little, I could see his normal body. He led Hope loose and she fell to the ground. She was grabbing her neck, breathing for air.

"But why did you folks fight us then? We were helping citizens." The girl said in the bubble.

"We thought you were villains because you grabbed us with your plants. So, it's a normal reaction." Max said, releasing her.

"We were wrong, and we know that. We are deeply sorry, but we really want to help you all." Hope said, still gasping for air.

The girl walked towards Hope and blew some spores into her face. Hope could breathe normal again in just a few seconds.

"How did you do that?" Max asked her, helping Hope get up.

"I'm an expert with plants, so I know everything about them. Thus, I know what plants heal and what not." The girl walked to her boyfriend and took his hand. "Why don't we try this? It would be nice to have some new friends." She said to him.

"I guess, but why would we do that?" He asked Max, Hope, and me. Hope walked towards them.

"You don't have to trust us, but we will try and make the world a better place. We promise it."

"Okay. So, like a group of people that fight crimes?"

"You can call it that. We are not obliging you two, but it would be nice to add two more powerful people to the team." Max said with a big smile.

"What do you think babe? We can use some help and they can be helped with us. A win-win!" The girl said.

"Oh, fuck it! We'll do it!" He said. The girl kissed him on the cheeks.

"Great, now what's the plan?" The girl asked us. Hope wanted to tell it, but I interrupted her.

"Before we tell our big, impressive plan, we first want to know you folk's story. I promised to understand you, so here's my try. Please tell us who you all are, because we don't know your names yet and how you ended up here." They both took a deep breath.

"I'm Daniel and this is my girlfriend, Scarlett. We weren't born with these powers. They were given to us. I'll tell you how. There is this place called HYDRA, who do tests on normal people. We were both sixteen when we got recruited for this and didn't know what happened or how this could be possible. Our parents were forced to give us up, otherwise they would kill us and probably them to."
