Headcannon: S/O flirting and back

Shrike:

That squid boy needs countless attempts to realize that these actions are all to flirt with him. Changing clothes in front of Shrike often ends up him saying that they should not block his view from the TV or simply says that they dropped something. Even as simple "I am trying to flirt with you!" won't help this squid.

"That is flirting?" may be the reply he gives them.

If you think that is bad, wait till it is his turn. That Squid boy has absolutely no idea how to flirt. They are worse pick –up lines or creepy nicknames. If their s/o loves them dearly they should really help out that poor guy.

Bulldog:

That man won't misunderstand any single signal their s/o is giving them. His blushes made it crystal clear. Thankfully the flirt attempts do not have to be extreme. A simple touch of his beard or stroking his arm tenderly while looking into his eyes is enough to get this guy flustered.

Even his ways of flirts are purely innocent and adorable. Sweet little compliments and observant if any changes happen to their s/o appearance. Holding hands is his ultimate way to show affections but a cute little wink or grin is his way of flirting without a single word.

Tyneen:

That queen is the flirt master and the s/o should be the same. Getting undressed to impress or simple naughty comments are her thing. Innocent and adorable approach would bore Tyeen in the long-run. She needs the extreme and loves it when the s/o is creative with their words.

Ricket:

Like Bulldog he prefers a sweet and innocent flirt. If the s/o is shy would be even better as Ricket finds the mysterious behaviour interesting and would try to find what lies underneath that shy approach.

However when he flirts it is not easy to tell if it is a friendly gesture or actual flirting. That skeleton doesn't know if getting their s/o something to eat is a flirt attempt or just being nice. All in all he often pokes their s/o sweetly and ask them up front if they understood what he is trying to do or if they misunderstand him. A shy s/o will be thankful for that way of communicating.

Jawbone:

That skeleton knows what to say to his s/o. Despite them being pickup-lines and nicknames he never get them as bad as Shrike does. His approach is to get to know their s/o before he starts flirting. Basically observing what would work on them and what they will hate to hear. With that skeleton their s/o has to be very clear what they want to avoid any weird conversations or creepy behaviours. But they have to be careful what they say: too much information and Jawbone might lose interest. He needs someone to win over and not an open book.

Scratch:

That cat immediately gets every hint their s/o throws at him. Scratch knows exactly how to flirt and realizes that on their s/o in an instant. To tease them is his favourite part making their s/o badly. For a shy s/o probably the worst thing to do.

Oh boy, flirting mode nonstop. That cat doesn't know the meaning of too much flirting. If their s/o plays along it is fine, but if they are not, it could turn into a heated argument. Also his flirts are mostly in words and often contain two sided messages. His s/o should stop them after five minutes or they will have to endure this for hour's one end.

Scritch:

Their s/o is better off with flirting attempts with words as hints of getting undressed won't really get into that cat head as a flirt.

Awwww...not a single word is spoken and yet...he showers their s/o with physical affections. Flirting by holding and massaging their hand is one of the most pure ways he shows. Also to rub him against you like cats do to get attention is also one of his favourite's moves. Although their s/o have to see if Scritch's affection gets more over time. If they ask him if he is flirting you won't get around a pair of big round kitty eyes and a massive smile.

Kara:

She notices the attempt and takes notice of them but won't reply or show any sign of interest which can turn their s/o away. With Kara their s/o needs some time to get an answer and this often comes in physical approaches. She often uses her tail to show her affections and even to flirt. Stroking the body of their s/o is the biggest sing of interest and often included with a long passionate look at each other. Once Kara adds a smirk she is on full flirting mode.
