Chapter 15: Daehyun's Birthday Party Part 2

Daehyun //

The party hosted by Min here at the karaoke bar already started. She invited our classmates and some of our middle school friends. Everybody is already here and having fun except for the certain person that I want to be here, Hee Ra. I wonder what is she doing now? Is she with that guy again? Ugh! Just thinking about her being with that damn guy making me so piss already.

"Hey dude, what are you doing here? You're the celebrator, you should be having fun with everyone, you know?" Youngjae stated as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder, "I know that you're not that happy because Hee Ra is not here but dude! Min, your girlfriend hosted this awesome party just for you so, can you somewhat show or just at least pretend that you're happy and stop frowning there, huh?" I know he's right, Min did this everything for me so, I shouldn't be like this.

"Ok, fine!" I sighed deeply as a sign of defeat, "I'll try my best to also have fun." I told him then he dragged me to the table of foods and drinks.

"Here bro, have a drink!" He handed me a bottle of beer and we joined the others having so much fun, but I really can't be completely happy today, I'm sorry Min.

"Yo guys! Are you having fun?" Min who just came back from somewhere sat beside me, everybody shouted and cheered as response to her, "How about our birthday boy, you having fun?" She asked as she clung on my arm.

"Yeah, thank you so much, Min." I said then forced a smile, I really feel bad for her, she gave all her effort on throwing this party in the last minute and what I'm doing? Pretending to be happy and even faking my smiles, I am the worst!

"Jagiya~ I still have something for you," she muttered then wore a big smile, "Come with me." She whispered to my ear then took me with her somewhere. She brought me to the next door beside the room she reserved for us.

"What are we doing here?" I asked, it's an empty room why did she brought me here? "Hey Min wh-..." My words were cut when she suddenly pulled me into a kiss, "Min...wait I-..."

"Shh, no need to talk jagiya, I just want you to accept my gift quietly." She hushed me then started kissing me hungrily again. She pushed me to the couch and hovered above me and not stopping on the hot kisses. We're completely making out when suddenly the door opened revealing two people. My eyes grew wider when I saw that it was Hee Ra with Yongguk.

I shoved Min due to my surprised and got up, "H-Hee Ra, what are you doing here?" I muttered, she also looked very surprised on the scene she saw. Fuck it! Why does she needs to see that? And why is she with that guy, huh?!

"Why you don't ask your girlfriend, she invited us here." Yongguk piped up, min invited them? But why does she needs to invite that guy? And why didn't told me about this?!

"He's right jagiya, I invited them but didn't I gave you the room number next door?" Min stated as she already done fixing herself.

"No-..."

"Ah yeah, I guess I saw the wrong number." Hee Ra cut Yongguk off, "I'm really sorry for interrupting you. We're going now." She stated then forced a smile and walked out of the room already followed by that guy.

"No! Wait Hee Ra!" I shouted then chased her, I grabbed her wrist as I tried to stopped her, "Wait, don't go yet, talk to me first." I held her on her shoulders.

"Hey, you shouldn't leave min alone there, go back now." She told me and I shook my head in response, "No Daehyun, go back to Min. I just came here anyway because I want to give you this," she stated then brought out a small box and handed it to me, "Happy birthday, I'm not going to apologize for not throwing a party for you this year because Min, your girlfriend did it instead. And she hosted a very nice party, didn't she?"

"But Hee Ra, I-..."

"Jung Daehyun, you shouldn't be here, you should go back there now, go back to Min, your girlfriend. We're going now." She shove my hands off her then patted my head, "Happy Birthday again." she said then turned her back and leave with Yongguk already. As I was watching her walk away from me with that guy I feel a excruciating pain hitting inside me.

After we went to that guy's party I brought Hee Ra somewhere far from the city as like what she requested. The whole drive she was not talking and she's just staring blankly outside the window. We're now here in a hill where I usually go when I want to be alone.

"Want some beer?" I offered her, I always have beer on my car it's like water to me, she took it and started drinking it, "You know, there's no one else in here besides from us so, if you want to shout, curse, or cry this is the perfect place." I stated then took a sip on my beer.

"Yongguk, why you doing this?" She started off, "Why you being nice to me all of sudden? You're the Badman, right? So what's with all of these? I actually don't get you anymore." She shook her head then went back to her beer.

"Well, you don't need to understand me at all, besides, we're here for you and not because of me." Seeing her like this, lifeless, deeply hurt making me also in pain, "Curse him, let out your anger by shouting, that will make you feel better. Do it like this." I stepped forward then shouted as loud as I can, I also need this to cool myself down. Earlier, I really want to punch that guy on his face for hurting Hee Ra like this, "Your turn." I took her hand and guided her forward she looked at me first then let out a deep sigh.

"JUNG DAEHYUN, YOU RASCAL! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YO-..." At the last part she already started crying, "I hate you." She wailed as she covered her face with her both hands, it really gives me pain seeing her like this. I went to her then pulled her into a hug, she then hugged me back tightly still crying nonstop.

"It's ok, just cry so that after you'll feel somewhat better." I patted her head while rubbing her back at the same time, If only I can just take away all the pain you're feeling now, I won't think twice and do it immediately. "Hee Ra," I started off as I released her from my tight hug, she's staring at me with tears still flowing from her eyes, "Do you really want to forget your feelings with that guy?" I bet she can't muttered any words so she just nodded as response, "Then let me help you, go out with me, for real."
