Chapter 9: Naughty Best Friend

I don't know why but I feel like I need to cut this staring game now if I don't want a bloodshed happen here.

"Y-Yah! Yongguk," I muttered getting their both attention, "You should go home now, your father might be waiting for you? You should be there with him." I told him.

"Don't worry about him, he's old enough and don't need a company anymore," he snorted as he looked away, "Besides, he might already left for work again when I came back there." He stated then let out a deep sigh, "But oh well, I'm going now since you don't want me here." What's with that? Is he sulking?

"It's not that!" I retorted, "You can stay here if you want just promise me that you won't do anything stupid." I bargained trying to make a deal.

"I'm just kidding, you know?" He chuckled that made me surprised, Bang Yongguk laughing like that? Is he sick or something? "I'll go now, you still have appointment with him, right?" Omo?! I guess he's severely ill! What's with him suddenly acting nice? It actually creeps me seeing him like this? "One more thing," he started off as he leaned down towards me, "Promises are made to be broken." He stated then gave me cocky smile, "Enjoy yourself tonight because tomorrow we'll be back to master-slave relationship, my lovely tutor." He murmured to my ears then smirked.

I knew it, he can just change like that! He's just acting trying to act nice! Ugh! I can't believe I almost fall on his trap?! Bang Yongguk, you're really a unlikable person!

I waited for Hee Ra more than an hour because I was worried after that call. When suddenly a guy took her phone and hung up on me. Hee Ra is no good when it comes to guy, she thinks that all guy are the same thanks to what her owned dad did. He can't stand guys except for me and her brother of course so, I'm really worried especially knowing that she's in her guy classmate's place.

"Ugh! Lee Hee Ra, what the heck you're doing?!" I drastically messed my hair up being so worried, "Why are you in a guy's place?" I let out a sigh when suddenly a luxurious car suddenly stopped. This car is familiar to me, isn't it the same car who dropped Hee Ra the other night?

When Hee Ra went out from the car I got up then immediately walked towards her, "Yo!" I greeted her, "I thought you'll take more longer?" I joked then smiled at her while you can see the word worried all written on her face.

"You really waited me?" She raised an eyebrow in disbelief, she told me to wait for her, didn't she? "Are you stupid?! How long have you've been sitting there?" She fired up then took my hands, "Your hands were freaking cold?! Aist! Jung Daehyun are you a nuts? You can just wait me at home, you know?!" She scolded then tried warming his hands but rubbing her hands into mine.

"Yah! Don't be so dramatic there?" I chuckled, she's always like this showing her worried and care by scolding and lecturing you and I really find it cute and amusing, "I'm just ok, you told me to wait so I did. So, what's with that attitude, huh Lee Hee Ra?" I took my hands then raffled her hair, this became a habit I always raffled her hair and she's not happy about it.

"Pabo," She snorted but instead of beings offended I chuckled, what? I really find it cute when she's mad and sulking, "Annoying." She hissed.

"Sorry for interrupting your oh so sweet bonding," A guy suddenly piped up, the owner of the luxurious car. He walked towards us then glared at me for seconds then shifted to Hee Ra, what's wrong with this guy? "Your bag," he shortly said then handed Hee Ra her bag, his deep voice is familiar so, he's the guy who hung up on me earlier, huh?

"Ah yeah, thanks." She awkwardly bowed and smiled at him. Are they close enough that Hee Ra showing him different expression that she usually hides and covered with her poker face?

"So, Hee Ra aren't you going to introduce him to me?" I stated then wrapped my arm in her shoulder, I'm curious with this guy, if you'll ask me I actually don't like his aura, something's with him that I can't really explain, "He's your classmate, isn't he?" I added.

And just like what I asked Hee Ra introduced us to each other, he's just staring at me intensely and I must say I can see annoyance in his expression. Its obvious that he likes Hee Ra and he don't like what he's seeing right now.

"Nice to meet you, Bang Yongguk." I started off as I held my hand out to him, he's just staring at my hand then looked at Hee Ra who's starting to tense up. Knowing her she only wear that expression when she's worried or scared but what should she be afraid off? What's her real relation to this guy? I can sense something here and I should find out what is it.

"Nice meeting you too." He replied then took my hand finally, "So, you're Daehyun, her neighbor and childhood friend?" He smirked then a staring game started while we both strongly gripping in each others' hand.

But Hee Ra broke the intense athmosphere as he told Yongguk-sshi that he should go home already because his dad was home. They started talking things that I somewhat don't understand then suddenly Yongguk-sshi leaned towards Hee Ra and muttered something that I didn't heard. Hee Ra's expression changed and you can see annoyance with anger on her face. What the hell did that guy told her making her like that?!

When that guy finally left I immediately approached Hee Ra, "Yah, are you ok?" I piped up, "What did that guy told you?" I asked but the only answered I got was a deep sigh, "What kind if answer was that?" I complained as I raised an eyebrow.

"It's nothing," he muttered but that's not the answer I wanted to hear, what did that guy really told her?! "Daehyun ah, I'm sorry for making you wait that long but it's already late I guess we should just cancel this?" this is so disappointing, I thought we could hangout after long time.

"It's ok, I understand you might be tired already," I stated then sighed, "But you owe me a big one, ok?" I patted her head and she nodded and smiled at me as response.

"But Dae, I have a question?" She piped up while we're walking back home already, I gave her a questioning look, "Why did you choose to use your free time with me instead of going out with Min?" She also shot me with a questioning look.

"Hm...because the other night we talked about it, didn't we?" I started off while I'm caressing my chin, "Besides, Min and I are always together at school so, this time I wanted to spend time with my short tempered bestfriend." I then pinched her both cheeks making her groaned in pain.

"Yah Jung Daehyun!" She growled then kicked my shin.

"Aw! That really hurts, you know?!" I groaned in pain, she started laughing then ran away from me, "Lee Hee Ra! Comeback here!" I shouted while still holding my shin that she just kicked awhile ago.

"Why should I?" She chuckled, "If you want me then come here, catch me if you can!" She stuck her tongue out, such a kid? I'm sure that Bang Yongguk guy haven't seen this playful immature part of her, "Yah Jung Daehyun, what are you doing? You're too slow!" She teased.

"As if you can runaway from me?" I smirked then started stretching my legs preparing to catch a short tempered kiddo, "You better run now my beloved Riri because here I come!" A curve in the side of my lips suddenly appeared making her eyes widened and ran as fast as she can because she knows that she'll be dead if I caught her.

She started squealing like crazy as she tried her best running away from me but of course I caught her without giving too much effort. I tightly hugged her from the back while she's still struggling but in the end she surrendered.

"Fine, fine you win!" She finally surrendered while trying to catch her breathe, "So, what to do now?" She asked then I started thinking if something fun to do.

"I know!" I shouted while pointing my index finger to the sky, "Can I sleepover at your place," her eyes widened and just stared at me that made me thought of something evil, "What? Am I not allowed to sleep with my lovely best friend?" I pouted.

"Ani, it's just we're not kids anymore I don't think it's still proper if we sleep in the same room?" She explained while I tightened my hug on her, "Y-Yah! What are you doing?!" She complained while her face was as red as tomato.

"Why so? Because we might do something at your room besides from just sleeping?" I whispered on her ears making her blushed even more, "Wanna try something besides from just sleeping?"
