Chapter 22: Jealousy Part 1

Just like what we've planned earlier after our class we went to my part time job together. Because we have two cars with us Himchan's and Yongguk's, Hyosung decided to just ride on Yongguk's while me on Himchan's. Yongguk obviously don't like the idea but he can't do anything about it. He called Himchan for a talk before we left the campus and when I asked Himchan what did they talked about he told me that Yongguk warned him about doing something stupid to me. But I hope he'll apply the same thing to himself and not do stupid things with Hyosung.

When we arrived at the shop with our clothes still complete and organized we bumped into an unexpected person, Daehyun. Yongguk and I started exchanging stares both surprised to see him here.

"D-Daehyun, what are you doing here? Isn't your shift is at morning?" I asked him as I raised an eyebrow.

"Hello there Hee Ra," He greeted with frail smile,"My shift was changed to night since our practice will be only at weekends," he explained and I just nodded in response, "So, we will be sharing the same shift again starting tonight." He stated and wore an awkward smile, he might also feel uncomfortable because our last conversation was on his birthday party that somewhat didn't go well, "Don't you like it? If you want I can just go back to the morning shift if you're not comfortable?"

"Ah no, no, don't do that, please." I retorted as I shook my hands, "It's not that I don't like, it's just that I was surprise with the sudden change of schedule." I reasoned out, he then nodded and the air between us started to became awkward.

"Uhm, Riri, who is he?" Hyosung suddenly piped up that cut the awkwardness.

"Oh yeah, my bad." I started off, "Daehyun, this is Hyosung, her twin Himchan, and you know Yongguk already, right? There are my classmat-..."

"Friends! Friends, Riri." Hyosung cut me off, "We are your friends." She exclaimed while wearing serious face but after a couple of seconds her expression turned back to her smiling face. Woah, that expression of her from earlier is scary.

"Y-Yeah," I nodded in agreement, "And guys this is Daehyun, workmate and also my childhood friend." I introduced and they all exchanged bows except for Yongguk who's just standing in the same place with his hands on his pockets.

"Childhood friend? Omo! Don't tell me you two have secret feelings for each other but you can't blurt it out because you're afraid to loss the friendship you keep for a long time?! Omo! Omo!" My eyes widened as I heard her statement, Daehyun and I exchanged stared for a second then both looked away in unison, "Aw! You two are blushing! So, I was right? So, that's why you don't like Himchanie? Sorry bro." She let out a deep sigh then patted Himchan's shoulder.

"Hey, it's not that she don't likes me. She actually said that she likes me!" Himchan defended, they gave him suspicious look, "Fine, my humor should I say. She like my humor." He sighed as a sign of defeat, Hyosung and I then chuckled to Himchan's silliness.

"I don't want to ruin your night but Hee Ra, we need to go inside now." Daehyun piped up as he looked at his wrist watch, the wrist watch I gave him on his last year's birthday.

"Oh yeah, guys we will just go time in and change to our uniform then I will personally get your orders." I told them and beamed them my usual smile when I'm working, "Let's go, Dae?" I said and unconsciously clung on his arm that I used to do when we're together. He looked so surprised by my sudden action that made me snapped on what I did, I tried to pull my hand off him but he stopped and beamed me a smile.

I can't help but to blush with what he did and his smile, forgetting that we're together with others especially Yongguk who seems to be very annoyed. As I saw his annoyed face I then ended up pulling my hand off him then pushed him inside already, "Let's go!"
