Slowly, Tony's arms wrapped around me and we just stood there for a moment in a warm embrace, neither of us wanting to let go, but finally, he pulled away and looked down at me with a smile "okay".

Just like that, I woke up still sitting next to Tony on his bed, my hand still gently placed on his arm, but now his eyes were open "Tony! Omg you're okay! Thank god" I practically tackled him as I hugged him tightly. He was still laying down, so he had to push himself into a half sitting up position before he was comfortable, but once he did, he hugged me back.

Confused, he looks down at my small body wearing only a vest and underwear laying on top of him and hugging him tightly. I didn't see it, but his face flushed a bright red in that moment "umm, Katie, what happened? How did you get in here?"

"It's kind of a sort of long ish story" I start, pulling out from the hug and inching back to sitting beside him on the bed "but basically, I woke up to get a drink and I heard you shouting my name, so I came to see what was wrong but you were asleep, so I asked Jarvis to open your door and I tried to wake you up but you were still just shouting my name, and I asked Jarvis what I should do, and, well... he told me to enter your dream with my mind reading ability, and it's not my fault because he told me to do it and Jarvis is smart so I had to listen to him, and besides you weren't waking up and I was getting really worried because you kept moving around and last time you had a dream that bad you kind of attacked me with one of your suits, so I think it was justified, please don't hate me" I close my eyes in anticipation for him to get mad, but he never did, he was actually quite quiet "Tony? Did I break you?"

"Umm, no, no, I'm fine, I'm great" he rambles, trying not to focus on your lack of clothing "umm, thank you for waking me up, and I don't hate you, so don't you ever think that, okay?"

"But I promised you I wouldn't ever read your mind and then I did and you should hate me" I pout, looking down at my hands in my lap.

"I could never hate you, plus if you hadn't have used your powers I'd probably still be in that nightmare" he smiles, taking one of my hands in his "thank you"

I look up at him, shocked that he's actually holding my hand right now, trying desperately not to squeal out loud like I was in my mind "y-you're welcome" I smile back. For a brief moment we just stayed like that, looking into each others eyes and holding hands whilst I sat beside him in his bed. Then, because my brain hates me, the situation dawned on me and I realised that I was in Tony's room, in his bed, barely clothed and holding his hand. Reluctantly, I removed my hand from his and strolled onto the floor, hiding under his bed.

Tony immediately began laughing "what on earth are you doing?"

"Hiding"

"Why?" You could hear him shuffling on the bed, but you couldn't see him so you knew he couldn't see you, then all of a sudden, Tony head appeared in front of you, he was leaning of the edge of his bed to look at you, still laughing as he saw you hiding under there.

"Because I'm not wearing that many clothes, stop looking at me" I blush.

He paused for a moment as I patiently waited for him to respond. Tony sat up in his bed, avoiding staring at you as you began to climb out from underneath when he finally spoke "but what if I want to look at you?"

I was mostly out from under the bed, I just had to shuffle my legs out, but upon hearing him I completely froze "w-what?"

"Nothing, I didn't say anything... you should head to bed, it's late" he completely changed the subject, terribly if I may add.

Quietly, under my breath, as a whisper, so that Tony definitely couldn't hear me, I answered "but what if I don't want to leave you". I hadn't moved or said anything to Tony out loud and I'd just now realised, so I quickly stood up and said, at my normal talking volume "okay, goodnight, Tony" I half smile, practically running out of the room and heading to mine, going straight back to sleep.
