Chapter 53

Jennie POV

It's almost a week I've been in this hospital and Lisa has been very persistent. She really didn't leave me for a split second. Even when I go to pee, she will stand in front of the bathroom, as if I will runaway through the window.

She has been on my side through my recovery process. My parents visit me once a while and I don't know what happened between Dad and Lisa which make them death glaring to each other as if they're ready to stab each other.

Jisoo and Rosie also come to visit, even taking care of me. But Lisa, ever since I admitted here, she didn't go anywhere. She's the one who's bathing me, feeding and walk me to the garden in the hospital every morning.

The more I push her, the more she's holding me tight. I still can't forgive her for putting us in this conditions. I can't imagine what will happened to me if I lose the babies.

This morning Suzy came to check up on me and the babies. She said I'm getting better but the babies still not giving any improvement. It makes me frustrated to think how weak my babies are.

And I can't leave the hospital not until my babies showing any improvement.

"Here. Your medicine" Lisa handed me a glass of water and my medicine.

I took it and gulp it.

Yuck. I hate medicine.

I lay my back on the bed and heave deep sigh. Lisa massaging my head, make me feel relax.

"Ohh... Yeahh.. That's good.. Your hand is so good.. Mmm..." I closed my eyes feeling the nice pressure she gave on my head.

And I heard her giggling.

"Why are you laughing?"

"I'm not"

"Yes you are!" I slapped her hand.

"Okay sorry sorry. It's just funny to hear you moaning like that" She hold her laugh.

"Get out from my room!"

She raised both of her hands on defeat.

"Okay.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to laugh. But I can't hold it"

I crossed my arms looking at her.

"No grumpy. I want my babies to be healthy ASAP!" She said pointing at me.

I sigh. And loosen up myself.

"Do you think the babies will survive?" I asked her softly.

"Of course they will. They are Manobans. We were born to be strong" She said showing her biceps.

I rolled my eyes.

"I still hate you"

"I know and I accept that. But our main focus should be on the babies okay" She said caressing my cheek.

How much I miss this.

"Why did you fight with V?" I asked her curious.

"Let's not talk about that"

She look at me and I raised my eyebrows waiting for her explanation.

"He was insisting to enter the building when the security already asked him nicely to leave. He was the one who's picking up the fight. He punched the security. I was happened to be there but he punched me as well and I can't loose from him. Fucking twink" She curse the last word and looking away.

"And why you didn't stop when I asked you to stop?"

"Anger baby anger! He pushed you to the ground. I swear I could've killed him if you weren't there"
