Chapter 44

Lisa POV

Jennie forced me to come with her to the party, while I don't want to come at all. I'm not getting used to with people's attention and I prefer to stay away from these. But here I am at the mansion getting ready for the party.

She chose my suit which I believe will match with her dress. Her hairdresser and MUA is here doing their work for me.

"You really have a good feature Ms Manoban" Said the makeup artist.

"Thanks. I've been blessed" I said grinning.

"Just one last touch and you are ready to go" She said.

I nodded.

*knock knock*

"Mm.. Monkey. You have a problem" I look at the door where Jisoo is standing.

I squinted my eyes confused.

"Jennie doesn't want to go"

"WHAT?!" I got up from my chair and go straight to her bedroom.

There, I see her still in her bathrobe sitting on her bed playing with her phone.

"What the hell is this? Why are you still not getting ready yet?" I asked her angrily. Jisoo standing behind me.

"I'm not in the mood. I want to chill at home" She said shrugging.

I sigh. Coming closer to her.

"Look. I don't know what's happening to you since morning. Your mood swing is confusing me. You force me to come with you when I don't want to come at all. And now I'm here getting ready, you said you don't wanna go" I propped my hands on my waist.

She put down her phone and looking at me "I changed my mind. You can go home now"

I look at her in disbelief.

"No! I won't go home. I'm all ready now. And you better get up and get ready!" I pulled her up but she hold herself back.

"Lisa! Stop! I don't wanna go. Unnie, tell her I don't wanna go!"

I turn around looking at Jisoo. She's raising both of her hands signaling she doesn't want to get involved.

"Okay. Fine. If you don't wanna go. I will go alone. There must be A LOOTTT OF CHICKS there, right Jisoo?" I look at Jisoo.

Jisoo caught off guard by my words and just widen her eyes.

I start walking towards the door when she talk something which stopping me.

"Dare to walk out of this house. Consider you will never gonna see your future!"

I turned around seeing her getting up from bed and approaching her vanity table.

"Let's get ready" She said to her dresser.

I smirked seeing her.

Do I need to make you jealous all the time Jen?

Since Jennie will take some time getting ready. I wait for her in the living room. Talking with her parents and Jisoo.

We were laughing at Mr Kim's joke when I saw a figure walking down the stairs.

Jennie is wearing a black dress with her hair in pony tail. She walk elegantly. Like an angel.

I got up from my seat while locking my eyes to her.

She's too good to be true.

My eyes follow her every step till she stop in front of me.
