(Ntsika's POV)
We decided to grab snacks before the movie.
"Popcorn, nachos, or candy?" Sipho asked.
"Everything!" Bafana joked.
We laughed and settled on a mix of snacks.
As we entered the cinema, we scanned for the perfect seats.
"Let's grab the middle row," Thabo suggested.
"Close to the screen, but not too close," Kagiso agreed.
We settled in, snacks in hand, ready for the movie.
Melo leaned over and whispered, "Thanks for driving, Ntsika."
"No problem, happy to be here," I replied, smiling.
The lights dimmed, and the movie began.
.....
We got lost in the movie, laughing and cheering together. The action scenes had us on the edge of our seats.
Bafana shouted, "Yes! Did you see that?"
Liyanda giggled, "This movie is insane!"
Melo grinned, "Best choice ever!"
The movie ended, and we applauded along with the rest.
As the credits rolled, I pulled out my phone.
"Selfie time!" I exclaimed.
We squeezed together, making silly faces.
Melo leaned in, her smile radiant.
"Post this on your story," Sipho said.
I nodded, snapping a photo.
The flash captured our joyful moment.
I posted the selfie with the caption: "Cinema squad goals"
Melo commented, "Best day ever!"
.....
"Who's up for lunch?" I asked."Me!" the group chimed in unison.
We decided on McDonald's
As we walked in, the aroma of the restaurant itself filled our senses.
We settled into a cozy booth, perusing the menu.
Melo leaned over, "I'm starving!"
Bafana chuckled, "You're always starving."
Liyanda playfully rolled her eyes.
The waiter took our orders, and we chatted while waiting for our food.
Sipho brought up the movie's plot twists.
"That ending though!" Thabo exclaimed.
Kagiso nodded, "I didn't see it coming."
Amanhle smiled, "Told you it's the best movie ever."
Our food arrived, and we dug in, savoring the flavors.
As we devoured our burgers, the laughter flowed freely.
Sipho started telling jokes, leaving us in stitches.
"Guy walks into a library and asks the librarian, 'Do you have any books on Pavlov's dogs and Schrödinger's cat?'"
Thabo chuckled, "And then?"
Sipho grinned, "The librarian says, 'It rings a bell, but I'm not sure if it's here or not.'"
We erupted into laughter.
