"What are we going to do with her?" Zack asked as he was wheeled in by a nurse as he held an icepack to his head. He groaned a little as they slowed to a stop.

Danny looked up with blood shot eyes making Zack wince.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" He asked.

He opened his mouth and then closed it before gesturing with his eyes over to a sleeping Amy.

"Ah," Zack realised before looking around, "Where are Carl and Rachael anyway?"

Danny lowered his head into his hands and groaned, "I just want to sleep!"

Zack sighed understanding the little guy. He himself still needed to lay down in a bath tub of ice to sooth his aching muscles. That was a lot. He couldn't have imagined it to be that hard to bring down a whole building with fast moving mythical creatures that live on sucking the life out of others. Other super naturals included. Getting back to full strength would take more than a few days.

"Hey!"

Danny's eyes shot up and locked onto Rachael in a nurse uniform. He didn't question her but immediately charged.

"I am done!" He announced and immediately Amy shot up from her laying position. Her eyes searched frantically.

Rachael glared at Danny. He rolled his eyes andsnapped his fingers. Nothing happened. He did it again and nothing. This time he glared.

"Thanks to you, I am in for the longest trip of my life!" He whined and stomped out of the room making sure to slam all the doors on his way out.

"Poor guy," Zack shook his head and turned to his elders, "What's going to happen with her."

Rachael sighed, "I need tio find out exactly who she is and her heritage before I Can let her go. Since she is one of us and certainly almost as powerful. My tricks may not work on her...."

Carl sighed.

"You should be heading back to rest as well," He advised Zack. Zack took one last look at Amy before wheeling himself out.

He sighed and cursed silently realizing he was too weak to make a shortcut home.

"Oh, heck,"

Margot paced the entrance of the mansion. Everything that happened was playing in her mind on repeat. The goal had been to stop Michael from expanding. Save Crystal. Take magic away from Crystal without killing her.

Instead...

They stopped Micheal not before he could kill Crystal though. Amy suffered a mental breakdown. Michael got away with about half of the power Crystal had in his system. Jordan and Blake, though injured had gathered some men and helped kill the vampires that could have escaped the massacre and now were on the way back with no knowledge whatsoever about Crystal's expected but untimely demise.

"This was not what I signed up for," She muttered to herself and decided to think of her mate. Yes her handsome warm amazing mate. And his very great hands.

"Margot?"

She turned and cursed when she met the dark blue eyes of the Alpha's son. Felix.

"Always a pleasure." She muttered. Getting the picture of his wolf in his body holding her mother's heart in her head was not getting any easier to handle.

"What is going on?" he asked, "I keep smelling and seeing things. I don't really understand. Seeing as you are a witch can you look through my mind and see if my wolf is okay?"

Margot scoffed. Like his wolf would ever let her do that again.

"I cant." She told him and his eyes darkened.

"What do you mean you cant?"

She sighed and took a step back from his domineering aura.

"I cant." She said again, "If you want to know more, ask your father. I am not allowed to say more than that."

He stared at her confused before walking back inside.

"Poor guy," she sighed and turned just in time to see a small pack of wolves imerge from the woods. She sighed in relief. They made it back.

They howled in victory and nudged their bloody fur on each other. Behidn them a larger wolf imerged one larger than even any Alpha that Margot had ever seen up close. The beast trotted up to her and hummed before changing back to a very naked Blake.

"Not the most shocking thing I have seen today," she muttered, "So you are a hybrid. Good to know. I am guessing you got them all."

He nodded.

All the wolves shifted back to human and naked men strolled passed a gawking Margot. Her mate being one of them. He especially made sure to dip down and give her a kiss that had her toes curling to keep her mind on nothing else but him.

"Crystal."

Or so she thought.

"Did you save her? Is she alright?" Jordan asked from behind her.

To make things even more interesting Felix walked out staring at his friends. His rogue friends.

"What so you think you are doing entering pack lands?" He asked. Jordan rolled his eyes and ignored him as he waited for Margot to reply.

Margot opened her mouth but she didn't have it in her to say more.

"Is she alright, Margot?" Jordan asked again, desperation written on his face. Margot sighed.

"She didn't...um..." her voice broke as the memories rushed back, " she was ...ummm ...there was no time... and then he bit her....sucked her dry...Jordan, she's dead."

Blake looked at his best friend crumble to his knees in tears.

"No," Jordan said barely able to contain his sobs, "Not after everything!!! This can't be how it all ends."

Felix stared obliviously stared at Jordan. Hostility gone. He was worried. Blake huffed and continued on his way inside.

"That takes care of that problem." Rachael said staring at the scene from her book.

"Yes, but they do go the same school. How are you gonna fix that?" Carl asked.

Rachael shrugged, "Her parents died in a car crash that had her away from school for over a year. Her grades slipped and she didn't want to have to face the pain of going the school where every one knows what happened and have to spend a year longer." She explained.

"I always forget how powerful you are," Carl chuckled.

Rachael shrugged, "A few memories here and a few out and the rest is pretty much predictable."

"And Amy?"

Rachael's smirk fell, "She is an emotional train wreck right now. She will be receiving counselling and I will add her to the coven to monitor her progress."

"What if one of them runs into Crystal again?" Carl wondered.

"I suppose that will happen," she hummed, "we will just have to tackle each hurdle as it comes."

"You are playing with fate, Rachael."

Rachael closed the spell book and waved it back to the shelf.

"I know, Carl," she replied, "It is about time that I won a round."
