"This is too much!!"
Danny turned to Racheal and gaped at her.
"That part is obvious, dear," he mocked, "The part of how to make them stop is not so obvious."
Rachael glared.
Zack was wiped out lying on a stretcher and commanding the people carrying him to do it more gently.
"Danny, do your brother a solid and open a portal for me." he asked and Danny rolled his eyes waving his arms mindlessly. A portal opened and Zack was gone. Carl stood containing what he could of the blast that Amy and Crystal's body were letting out.
"This cannot be normal," he grunted, "She's dead, right?"
And the power output increased causing him to groan as he added in more strength.
"I would refrain from using that term with the big D and her in the same sentence," Danny pointed out.
"Crystal was a vessel."
Carl's shield faltered and he sent a glare Rachael's way. She avoided his gaze.
"Past tense is also off limits apparently." Danny noted writing everything down in a notebook before causing it to vanish.
Micheal was long gone and the aftermath was manageable. Danny could picture closing off this part of the town until his people could rebuild it. The entire town was still intact.
Danny portaled his sofa under his butt and sat comfortably. He then summoned an old thick book that he quickly looked through. He hummed and there were some 'oh's her and there while Rachael continued to study them.
Carl was getting tired holding off their blasts. His knees were buckling.
"Okay." Danny got to his feet.
"What?" Rachael asked.
"Its normal that the magic inside the vessel to come out upon the vessel's..." Danny trailed off and gestured with a finger to his throat and sliding it all the way across.
"I can't really sense why the power from Amy is firing back like that," he added, "she is not a vessel, I smell witch on her."
"Yeah she is a witch." Racheal confirmed.
"I suspect that she is a child of one of the banished."
"Ah," Danny understood, "So she is basically witch who lived as human. Interesting. Now how do we make her stop?"
Rachael hummed.
"She needs to see Crystal alive." Rachael murmmered.
"Yes, like we have power over life and death, right?" He mocked.
"It doesn't have to be real, you know. She just needs to see her." Rachael clarified and Danny nodded.
"I don't like doing this," he muttered bracing himself in anger.
"I know. I am sorry." Rachael said and Danny tapped into Amy's mind.
The resistance he received was impossible to miss. Flashes of the world of Amy zoomed past his vision as he focused entirely on hat she was seeing at that moment,. In Amy's eyes, he could feel the guilt that was eating her up at the demise of her friend. He sighed and pitied the young witch and decided to do what he unfortunately was execellent at. The image before her eyes changed and she was seeing Crystal. In a less dead state. She was unconscious, basically asleep right next to her in the same bed.
