Chapter 15

I was stunned to say the least.

At that moment I felt a drop hit our intertwined hands. I looked up to a find a tear tracing down his cheek. His gaze was still locked on me. I couldn't find words to say. I didn't know what to do. What was so wrong in telling me anything that is making him cry?

"Please...come back with me," he said.

"I know it sounds selfish and that I am being desperate and needy and insensitive...especially to you but..." he paused, "I can't manage a night without knowing where you are... if you are safe."

I was dumbstruck.

"What?"

All my senses were suddenly back in gear and I was on my feet in seconds.

"I just moved in here." I said gesturing to the boxes surrounding the room, "I just became independent, Felix!" I sated.

"Believe me I am trying to understand you. I am truly. I get that we have some weird connection and that is the only part of this I don't understand..."

"Crystal..."

"No," I told him sternly, "hear me out too. I don't know what you had in your head coming here in the middle of the night to beg me to come back when..."

"Crystal, you need to..."

"You barely even looked at me once. You were so rude the first time we meant and when you actually started to talk to me. You disappear again as if we did not just start to get to know each other..."

"Crystal..."

"And now you come over to my new apartment and ask me to come back? Really? I mean...come on. What do you take me for.....stupid?!"

My body was suddenly slammed to the ground at the same time a loud sound of shattering glass hit my ears. The large glass window that gazed upon the whole city was shattered.

My mouth went agape.

"We need to get out of here." I heard Felix mutter before pulling me along with him as he got up. He sped out the door holding a stiff shocked and frightened me in his arms.

"Crystal," he called.

"Crystal, I know you are freaking out right now but please talk to me. I need to know you didn't get hurt in that fall." he said as he ran. The wind was speeding past me like we were in a vehicle. The speed at which he moved not to mention the ease at which he carried me frightened me because it wasn't human. It was not normal. How can someone be this fast!!!

I gulped and gripped his neck securing my legs round his waist so that his arms were now under my thighs. Heat spread through my body and I blushed despite our current situation.

He sped down the stairs jumping two three at a time I couldn't help but squeak every time we reached another flight. Bile rose up my throat and it took a mouthful to swallow it back down. The world became blurred as we sped past the main entrance out into the streets.

Did he not come in a car?

Oh who am I kidding...? He probably ran here too.

My mind went blank and I finally decided to close my eyes and hold him tighter. If this was optional I probably would not want to be here right now but then again. He feels just so...right this close to me.

I am running crazy. It is official.

Soon a strong scent of nature hit my nose and I opened my eyes to see that we were in the woods. It was dark. Obviously. And the only light I could see was the one being reflected onto the glistening leaves from the moon. The moon was crescent this night and still with the tremendous speed we were going it was still in one spot.

I stared at it and felt a little bit of balance considering I am moving at more miles an hour than the average minivan.

He stopped finally placing me down against the tree. My legs felt like jelly. I wobbled a bit and finally let the tree support me.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

Oh what a wonderful question.... Am I okay?

"Felix are you seriously asking that right now?" I asked more than exasperated with my life. Can't a girl begin to start afresh withiugh getting shot at.

"I am more than furious with what is going on in my life right now.". I took in deep breaths calming my erratic heart beat.

I took a glance at him to find him string at me with an intens emotion I couldn't ldnt decipher.
Before I could open my mouth, he cut me off.

" I am very sorry,Crystal." He said softly, " I am so sorry you of all people has to be going through this right now."

My heart dropped at how quiet and guilt he sounded. I sighed running a hand through my face to calm myself once more.

" I doubt any if what has been going on has been your fault." I told him, " now can we go to where ever we were going through these woods so that you can explain to me  what is happening?" I suggested.

Straightening my disheveled Robe, I fell into step with him as we took a walk in in the woods.

We walked in silence with nothing but the hooting owls filling the air.

My brain was still finding a way to understand how fast Felix ran. How he sped so fast at an inhuman speed so fast everything we passed was a blur.

Everything he had been Telling me about wolves...

The human wolves....the werewolves.

What had I done for them to hunt me down like this? And should I also consider that they couldn't be real?

At that moment the memory if those yellow vicious eyes of the monster from years ago hunted my brain.

A similar scene at the pool with Blake...his eyes had turned. I was certain I had seen that change.

Could he be one too?

What about Jordan?

Most importantly Felix?!

How did I end up on this mystical completely unbelievable teen Wolf  episode of my life?
