"Attory Gerona said na 'wag ko raw po kayo papasukin. Pasensya na po talaga, Chairwoman Navarro."
"What!?" Therese's voice rose up. The other employees stopped and looked at the Chairwoman.
"Pasensya na po talaga. Sige po, mauuna na po ako, pinapatawag na po ako ni Atty. Gerona sa meeting. Sasabihan ko nalang po siya na nandito ka po sa office niya."
"No, It's fine.." she said calmly.

"Grabe! Narinig mo ba 'yon? Magka-away nanaman ata si Atty. Gerona at Chairman Navarro." Lei says as opens up her bottled water.
"LQ lang 'yan," Teddy laughs. "Sabi ko sainyo totoo talaga 'yung rumor na mag-jowa silang dalawa eh."
"Siraulo!" Chel slightly hit Teddy on the back of his head. "Magsi-balik na nga kayo sa trabaho niyo. Marinig pa tayo niyan."
"Good Morning, Atty. Gerona." The three looked up when they heard the other employees. They saw a woman, smiling widely while walking back to her office. The Attorney was about to open the glass door of her office when a woman suddenly held her wrist.
"Chairman Navarro," The attorney smiled. She slightly opened the door. "Come in."
"Drop the case. Alam ko na ang plano niyo ni Atty. Wintle."
"Let's just talk about it inside, Chairwoman."
"Hindi ka ba natatakot na makulong, Leona? Ano ba?"
"Of course not. And correction.. Atty. Gerona. Gusto mo bang mahuli tayo rito? I said act professional, Chairwoman."
The attorney immediately walked inside her office and was about to close the door when Therese stopped her.
"Let's talk, Attorney."

"What is it again.. 'ga?"
"Akala ko ba kaya mo 'kong tiisin?"
"Ayokong mag-away tayo dito, baka bigla nila tayong paghinalaan. I'm just being careful."
"Ah, kaya bawal ako papasukin sa office mo?" Chairwoman Navarro sat on the couch. "But seriously, Leona.. drop the case."
"Nasa loob na tayo ng office ko, 'Ga. Stop calling me Leona na," The attorney slightly frowned. "And don't worry, matagal na 'kong abogada, ngayon ka pa ba matatakot? It's not like my first time na mag h-handle ng case."
"Pangga," Therese looks in her girlfriend's eyes, pleading. "Let the legal department take care of that case.. please."
Leona let out a sigh and sat beside the Chairwoman. She puts her hand on Therese's. "It's already begun, 'Ga. We all know na kahit hindi ko 'yon gawin ay pwede pa ring maapektuhan ang posisyon ko."
"Are you sure you're going to do it?"
Leona tightens her grip on Therese's hand. "Yes.."
"..."
The attorney cupped her girlfriend's face. She then gave her a sweet smile, showing her dimples. "Don't worry about me, 'Ga. If I win this case.. I will marry you."
Therese's touches Leona's hand on her face. "And you know I will still marry you kahit hindi ka manalo."
"Just wait for this case to end, mhh? I'll also wait for you."
Leona smiled at her girlfriend as an assurance. Therese just stared at her girlfriend's face. Her eyes - her brows - her rosy cheeks - her pretty eyes - her pinkish lips - her eyeslashes - they are perfect.
She's perfect.
"Hoy, Therese! Okay ka pa ba?"
Therese comes back to her sense. "W-What?"
"Kanina ka pa nakatitig diyaan sa picture ng anak nila Atty. Gerona," Aileen took Therese's phone and stares at the picture of a little girl. "She just looks so much like her mother. Ang ganda niya, 'di ba?"
"Y-Yes.. she's so pretty.. like her mom."
"Grabe, namiss ko bigla si Atty. Gerona! Na-miss ko magkaroon ng boss na galitin." Aileen let out a chuckle. "Pero can you believe that? Her husband is her first partner tapos kinasal pa sila. Gusto ko rin nang ganoon! Stick to one lang."
Therese forces a smile. Remembering all the memories with her ex-girlfriend. Leon's first partner? It's Therese. Her first Love? It's Therese. her first kiss? It's probably from Therese. They were each other's first in everything.
I'm happy for you but you said you will wait for me.. what happened?
I miss you, Leona. I miss us.
But I think I need to look forward.. and forget everything that happened between us.
