"Kailan niyo ba kami bibigyan ng pamangkin?"

Risanna looks at her wife, Eleonor. She let out a chuckle. "Ris and I are both busy. Hindi pa 'yan ang goal namin for now."

Risanna cleared her throat before looking at Grace and Pia. "She's right.. tsaka ba't niyo ba natanong?"

"Bawal ba? Parang hindi naman kayo mag-asawa!" Grace let out a chuckle. Eleonor and Pia just stare at each other.

"We just remembered how excited Eleonor was noong ikakasal na kayo kasi magkaka-family na raw kayo tapos ngayon, hindi niyo pa pala napag-uusapan 'yan."

Risanna notices how her wife keeps avoiding her gazes. Tumitingin naman siya kaso bigla ring iiwas. Grace and Pia look at Risanna's phone when it suddenly rang. She excuses herself and the three left in the living room.

"Can I use the restroom muna?" Grace also excused herself.

When only Pia and Eleonor were left in the living room, silence envelopes them. Then younger woman looks down.. fidgeting the ring on her finger.

The younger woman spoke. "Sinabi mo na sa kaniya?"

Eleonor just took a deep sigh and shook her head as an answer.

"Hindi ko pa nasasabi kay Grace.. kung ano-ano pa tuloy ang sinasabi niya," Pia smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. "I'm sorry, Ate."

Eleonor looks at the younger woman. "It's fine. Mas better kung 'wag na ring ipaalam sa kaniya."

"Kahit mahal ko si Ate Ris, I'll never tolerate her wrongdoings. Don't worry, Ate Leon, nandito lang kami para sainyo." Pia caresses Eleonor's shoulder.

"I.. I don't know what to do anymore," Eleonor looks down. "Gusto kong maniwala na hindi 'yun totoo pero.. masakit, Pia. Mahal ko ang ate mo."

"Ate, kung nasasaktan ka na.. o kayong dalawa. Wala nang ibang choice but to let each other go. Ayokong may masaktan sainyong dalawa." Pia says.

.....................

"Ingat kayo, ah?"

Grace and Pia bid their goodbyes before leaving the couple's house. Eleonor went to their bedroom when she heard her wife's talking to someone on her phone.

"Stop bothering me. Get lost!" Risanna ended the phone call and took a deep sigh. She stopped when she caught her wife -Eleonor- starring at her.

"Kailan pa, Ris?"

Risanna stared back at her wife. "Pangga.."

"Kailan pa, Ris? Akala mo ba hindi ko alam? I saw you.. I saw you that night. Nakakadiri kayo."

"Eleonor, no," Risanna walks towards her wife and holds her hands. "No, Pangga. I love you. A-Ano bang sinasabi mo?"

"Anong sinasabi ko? Hindi ba dapat.. anong ginawa mo? Hindi pa ba 'ko sapat sa'yo, Ris? May nagawa ba 'kong mali para lokohin mo 'ko? May pagkukulang ba 'ko bilang asawa mo?" Eleonor bit her lower lip to stop her tears.

"No, 'Ga. Listen to me, wala kang pagkukulang saakin-"

"Then why did you cheat!?" Eleonor shouted. "Ang sakit sakit mong mahalin, Ris. Hindi kita maintindihan. You know what? Let's just end this.."

"What!? No, Eleonor. Hindi kita hihiwalayan," Risanna took a deep sigh. "Just.. just let me explain, 'Ga. You know how much I love you."

"Explain? Kailangan pa ba noon? Kitang kita na may kasamang lalaki noong araw na 'yon, Ris! Ano pa bang ipapaliwanag mo!?"

"It's just one mistake, Eleonor! I'm drunk!"

"Lasing ka man noon o hindi, alam mo ang ginagawa mo! It's not a mistake but your own choice! Let's just end this.. ayokong masaktan, ayaw kitang masaktan..."

A tear escapes from Risanna's eye.

"I'll just talk to my lawyer to arrange the divorce papers.."

And after that, Eleonor left Risanna -her wife-.

"Tita Ris!"

A little boy run towards Risanna and hugs her legs. "Hello, baby Theo."

"Look Tita, my teacher gave me stars," Theo said, showing his arm to her aunt.

Risanna smiled. "Wow, very good! Mana ka talaga sa Mommy Pia mo."

"Sayang nga po eh may work si Mommy," The little boy looks down.

"Don't worry, for sure matutuwa si Mommy mo kapag nakita niya 'yang stars mo," She caresses the boy's cheek. "Do you want ice cream?"

"Yes po, Tita!"

"Okay. Let's go na," Risanna holds her nephew's hand as they walk out. Before reaching the parking lot, Risanna turned around and there... she saw a woman.

A very familiar woman.

"Eleonor.." she said. As if the woman could hear her voice. Risanna looks at Eleonor -her ex-wife- with a toddler beside her.

"She just looks so much like you," Risanna whispered as she stared at Eleonor.. with her daughter. After 8 years...

I'm glad,

She has found the love she truly deserves.
