"Hindi pa ba tayo aalis?" Rica asked, resting her head on the table while looking at her friend beside her.
Still reading a book, Lauryn responds. "Kakapasok lang talaga natin dito, 'te. Maghintay ka nga."
Rica just rolled her eyes and sat properly. After a few minutes, her attention went to the library door when it suddenly opened, revealing three students. Her eyes widened when she realized who one of them was; she immediately took a book that was on their table and started pretending to read it. Rica suddenly felt Lauryn's elbow on her arm, hitting her slightly.
"Oo, nakita ko," Rica whispered, still looking at her book. "Kaya nga hindi ako tumitingin, 'di ba?"
Lauryn let out a chuckle. "Ah, si Gerona? 'Yung nag thank you lang sa'yo?"
Rica just gave her friend a 'itikom mo bibig mo, beh' look before closing the book.
"Oh, aalis ka na?" Lauryn's eyes widened when her friend started to put her things in her totebag.
"Hindi niya 'ko p'wedeng makita."
"What? W-Why?"
Rica just got up and immediately ran towards the exit.
"Rica!" Lauryn shouted, which made everyone turn their attention to her. She looked down, feeling embarrassed. "Library nga pala 'to."

"Uy, Rica!"
"Hi, Kiks! Mag-isa ka lang? Nasaan si Chel?" Rica suddenly asked when he saw Kiko.
Kiko raises a brow. "Si Chel ba talaga hinahanap mo o si Leone?"
"H-Huh?"
"Pansinin mo na 'yung tao, nagtatampo na 'yun sa'yo. Sabi niya, iniiwasan mo raw siya." Kiko laughed a bit. "Nasa cafeteria siya ngayon, pupuntahan ko pa. Sama ka?"
Nagtatampo siya? Wow, ha.
Rica let out an awkward laugh. "Sorry, I have some errands to do pa kasi. Next time, nalang."
"Sure. Sige, see you later."

Rica greeted Laila with an embrace. They are now at Laila's beach house in Batangas; there are also many people at the beach house since Laila's classmates in high school are also there. Mayor Laila? Ang daming kilala eh.
"Where's Kiks? Nandito ba sila?"
"Yes, yes! Nasa taas sila!" Lei answered and immediately bit her goodbyes to Rica since she had to meet many more guests.

"Ano, Rica, mamamatay na tayo dito dahil sa lamig tapos ayaw mo pa rin pumasok!?" Lauryn complained, hugging herself with a blazer that rests on her shoulder as the wind blows over them.
