Careful

After he got cleaned up and washed his mouth Knuckles walks out of the elevator to the main lobby where Jade stood smiling. "You are an amazing woman" he smiled and she kissed him. "Hey you were innocent baby so of course~" she smiled. Vector and Espio rolled their eyes after giving knuckles an apology. The two turned around to talk to the other officers and knuckles wraps his arm around her. Yet as they walked out she looked at vector in the reflection and her eyes glowing orange for a second and back to green before they stepped outside. Vector starts sniffing the air and licks his lips. "Who's cooking smoked chicken?" He said. "VECTOR YOUR TAIL IS ON FIRE!" Espio yelled. Vector turns and sees his tail had flames. "FUCK GET WATER GET SOMETHING PUT IT OUT!!!" He yelled as he jumped around. One officer pulls out a fire extinguisher and covers vector with it making the flame die out yet a small puff ignited and he sprays again. "It's out...." He said. Jade giggles to herself and she lays her head on Knuckles's shoulder as they walked down the steps. "Knuckles!" He looks over and saw Amy with Blaze walking up fast. "Shadow called and said you were taken in jail." She said hugging him. "Where are they?" He asked hugging her back. "Looking up good lawyers for wrongful arrest and sent Amy to pay any bail." Blaze explained. Jade felt a bit of jealousy form seeing the pink hedgehog again and was hugging knuckles. "Well there's no need for that guys." Knuckles said breaking the hug and put his arm around Jade. "Because this beautiful girlfriend of mine was my alibi and I don't know how she did it when they suspected me of my dad's and Sue's death but I'm cleared from it all." He smiled and kissed her cheek making her jealousy die down seeing that he wants her and not Amy. "It was nothing I just happened to get them to talk to the bar manger and the hotel night shift to confirm us being there, and called up the editor from the rock concert." She said with a lie. "When you're a rising music start you got connections~" she smiled. "Well I'm glad knuckles has you." Amy smiled sweetly. I will ask how long have you two been together?" She asked. "Well since last night" knuckles smiled. "Ah because I have seen you before you came to the café when Knuckles help me get together with my amazing girlfriend here." Amy held her hand. "Yeah I saw you walk in to" Blaze said. "I didn't know you were there...." Knuckles said. "I didn't know you were there either I went to meet up with my sister Myra." She explained. "Oh yeah she ordered the blood orange, cherry and pomegranate booster drinks." Blaze said. "Yep" Jade smiled yet she saw Blaze was getting suspicious. "Anyways I better get home and get the guys calm down. Maybe we can all meet up for games at our place?" He asked. "Sounds fun!" Jade smiled and Amy clapped. "I'll bring my famous cheese ball and hand made salt and pepper crackers." Amy said. "Sounds delicious." Knuckles smiled and kisses jade. "See you and your sisters tonight?" "Sure baby." Jade smiled. "Oh Jade by the way how do you get your hair that way." Amy asked walking with Jade to the car. Knuckles chuckled and turns to Blaze who had her arms crossed. "Blaze? You ok?" He asked. "Look I know you don't know as well as Amy but...." She looks at Jade talking to Amy then back at him. "You need to be careful" she said and walks away to Amy. "What the hell did she mean by that?" He wondered as he watch the two women wave to Jade as she got in the car yet she steps back out. Her arms rest on the open car door while looking at him. "Need a ride baby?" She asked. "Actually yes please" he said and gets in the car with her. Once he got dropped off he kissed her again and watch her ride off. Once he gets in the house he told the guys what happened and that they were hosting a game night. Silver got excited and immediately started to get stuff together making the other two chuckle. Yet Blaze's subtle warning was repeating in his mind.
