Sonia and Myra were enjoying some hot chocolate next to the fire talking and laughing, while Silver and Shadow were talking on the couch. A female solid black hedgehog walks up with a male white jackal with a tray of cookies. "Hey thanks again for letting us stay here Serena and Hollen." Shadow said. "Of course anything for my cousin and his friends. Besides I really like your fiancée" Serena smiled. "I do too" shadow smiled and they chuckle. "Hey when is your friend and his girlfriend coming back it's getting late." Hollen asked. Before they could answer the door opens. "Hey sorry we're out late" Knuckles said walking in. "Yeah we had to stop at the store for a couple of things." Jade said smiling. "What kind of things?" Blaze asked as she and Amy walked in. "Oh good all of you sit down!" Jade said excitedly and they all sat down. Knuckles smiled as she handed them small gift bags including shadows cousin and Hollen. Jade walks up to knuckles who wraps his arm around her as they open the gifts. Myra and Sonia immediately jump up squealing with joy. "WERE GONNA BE AUNTS!" They said and hugged Jade happily. "Holy shit congratulations dude!" Silver said as he and shadow set the gift down then hug him. "Oh what joyous news!" Serena clapped. "I'm so happy for you guys!" Amy said and hugs them then she noticed the ring on Jades finger. "I see that's not the only good news." She smirked and Jade looks down. "Oh shit yeah! We're also getting married!" Jade said and once more the room was filled with joy and laughter. While the sisters, Amy, Serena and Hollen got to talking Blaze pulled the guys aside. "Blaze what's up?" "Well I got some news from back home. Arnold had given up because he realized I was right about the sisters. So we no longer have to worry about him. Peter on the other hand is still out for their blood." Blaze said. "Well at least one of them came to their senses, yet I still wouldn't risk heading home right now especially with Knuckles and Jades baby on the way" Shadow said. "I agree but I figured I let you guys know that this was a perfect idea." She said. "As long as all of you are safe that's what matters. You treated my sister well and I would hate to see her loose you." Silver said. "That really means a lot thank you silver." Blaze smiled. The four smile and walk back into the lobby where they finish off Christmas Eve was fun stories and helping Serena and Hollen set up Christmas presents from 'Santa' for their five and 4 year old children. Once that was done they all head upstairs to bed and fall asleep.
Unaware that in a couple of months Peter will find out where they are.
