Short Chapter

February was here yet all was not well for Jade and Knuckles. Mostly Jade.
The two were walking through the town heading to the doctor in January when Jade suddenly felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. Knuckles rushed her to the hospital where the doctor met up with them and she saw blood. Unfortunately the doctors confirmed she had a miscarriage. The two were devastated and Jade became depressed. Knuckles tried everything in his power to comfort her during this time while grieving himself. Sonia and Myra tried to help them out but their sister shut them out and eventually knuckles. Shadow and Silver felt bad for him as he slept in the room across the hall from Jade. Knuckles was getting depressed because he wants to help her and grieve with her since it was his child too. One night as she slept he snuck in and got into bed with her. She woke up and started yelling at him until he calmly hugged her and she felt tears on her shoulder. When he pulled away she saw the same pain in his eyes and cries into his chest. The two cried together until they fell asleep in each other's arms. Due to the loss of the child they canceled their part of the tour and people were sending thoughts and prayers for Jade that went all over the internet.

Peter was sipping on tea scrolling through his phone when the article about Jades miscarriage popped up. He smiled and clicked on the article and read the location of the town she was in and started to laugh wickedly.
