The next morning the Prince woke up to the perfect warm. The sun was up but not offensive. It was the definition of a perfect morning. Something that was just as good if not better to what he had in the cottage. It was the day that they would be planning the wedding. The day the Prince had secretly been planning since the Rebel stumbled into his room a year ago now.

"Good morning star." The Rebel chuckled noticing their boyfriend staring at them spaced out. This pulled the Prince out of his planning mode to take in the world around him again.

"Good morning darling." He replied with a smile. This was his perfect moment. The time you just know that you would go through the rest of your life with this one person. It felt like falling in love all over again, he probably did. It was time to plan the wedding, or at least bring it all together. Turns out that, with the Rebel leaders help, it would only take a day or two to have everything in place.

Since the ceremony wasn't going to be huge everything was going towards the after party. The couple were held up in the sitting room for all of the first day looking through things they might want to have. Turns out there was a lot that lined up for the both of them down to the colour of the flowers they wanted.

Both are native to the land, finding them on the other hand was a lot harder then expected. At least in bloom. There was plenty that were dying off for the approaching winter. The matter of who was walking down the isle was settled quickly. The Rebel called that spot far to quickly for the Prince to even argue for it.

That was a matter he wasn't exactly needing to press either. All that was left was to get the clothes. Nothing fancy but something that could double for the coronation as well. That was fun making sketches of what they both wanted. Something that was good enough to show the tailor when they got over there.

That was going to have to be the day after as they were going late into the night. They rested very much like that last night as tomorrow they were ready to start finding the things on the list. Thankfully it being a royal wedding meant that there would be help getting everything together. They were able to send out a list to the appropriate people.

It was much easier then the Prince thought. Weddings always seemed like this big deal with a lot of stress. There was something off with how easy it was to get everything together. By that night they had the clothes, and the decorations all set up. The throne room had been set up with bench's with ribbons lining the outside of them.

The thrones were deeply clean, and a coat of sap put on the wood to refinish them. They were covered in a sheet till the coronation that was planned for the next week. Everything that wasn't perishable was set out, it was all finally coming together. As tradition the Prince and Rebel were to spend the full day and night before the wedding.

That was the hardest night they had gone though since they got together. They were both in the same place with no danger and yet spent that whole time apart. The next day was a blur as they finished setting up everything. They decided that the ceremony would be happening that evening before dinner. An arch that is covered with spruce branches with flowers mixed into it. Vases were set out on the dining table for the evening. Just after lunch the Prince and Rebel retreated to the rooms they were in the night before to get ready.

The Prince only knew of the sketch the rebel's outfit but not the final thing. He was excited to see what it actually looked like. He was in his own room putting on his own clothes. It was the first suit that was made to fit him and look proper. It was amazing to finally see it in the mirror. It was a white suit with different shades of blue in rolling designs all over and deep blue trim around the jacket.

Yet it all still felt like a dream. There was no way that any of this could be real. He was getting married only a year after meeting this person. The Prince had second thoughts about having the wedding now so close to everything else. They felt guilty of them right before Sir Theodor came into the room.

"You ready there sire?" The Prince turned back to the mirror taking one look head to toe.

"Yeah, I think so." He said nodding.

"Good because we are ready for you to get into position." The Prince followed the knight out to the throne room. Everything was vibrant and put together better then he could have ever expected. The Prince walked up the isle to the front as they waited for the Rebel. It was so perfect that it felt like something was wrong. Maybe he was just caught up in the moment.

Having last minute second thoughts to make sure this was really the right decision. Something that really should have happened days ago back at the cottage. He could not stand still for his life as they waited for the Rebel to enter the room. As soon as they did the Prince couldn't stop staring. They were wearing deep red coat fully done up that had this short skirt with the front half cut off.

There was a black trim that looked like it outlined it. Their pants and boots look like a new version that they normally wear. The Prince didn't blink as the Rebel came up the isle with their mother walking them up. The Rebel walking with a bouquet of flowers that they handed off to their mother when they got to the front.

It was not just the two of them and the officiant at the front. They really were in their own world now. The Rebel then reached for the Prince's hands. When the Prince and Rebel touched it all ended. The room fell into darkness and the floor came out from under him. He fell screaming and woke up with a jolt in his bed the Rebel laying beside him.

"What the fuck just happened?" He whispered to the room, his voice hard to use. The room was different from what he remembers. Everything felt more comfortable, things slightly out of place but still in the right place. Even the cool breeze from the balcony felt more normal. It was the imperfect world he was use to. It was all just a dream.
