Maggie's p.o.v.

It's only been four weeks into my freshman year at college. I've made a couple of friends since I've been here. College just hasn't been what I expected it to be so far. Everyone always talks about how college is the best years of your life and how this is where you find yourself but these four weeks have made that seem pretty bleak.

There is one thing that I  look forward to every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at  12 p.m..  There's this boy in my biology class and I swear he's the most beautiful things I've ever seen. He always comes to class with his hair done so beautifully and these gorgeous eyes. God those eyes. I mean not like I think he even knows I exist. I just watch him from my seat like some sort of stalker. God this is embarrassing.

I shake the thoughts out of my head when I look over to my laptop and see the time it's six o'clock and I think it's time I go for dinner. I would ask my roommate Emma to come with me but she has an evening class on Tuesday nights so she'll probably just grab something quick when she comes back.

I make my way out of my bed. Grab my lanyard and head over to the dinning hall. When I get there I scan my card and grab a tray. I grab some grilled chicken and rice. I make my way over to the drink station and get my favorite. A Diet Coke.

Eventually I find a somewhat quiet place to sit and eat my food. I take out my phone and put on some random YouTube video to watch with my AirPods in while I eat my dinner.

About fifteen minutes go by and I see him. Conrad Fisher. The boy from my biology class. He's wearing a navy blue tee shirt and some grey track pants. He's with his friends laughing and joking about something.

I swear I've never been the girl to feel this way about some guy who doesn't even know I exist but what can I say. I guess college does change you in some way.
