Stay With You // Conrad Fisher

Chapter 13

Maggie's p.o.v.

       I wake up to the sound of the bathroom door shutting. When I open my eyes I feel a slight headache and groan as I sit up. I notice I'm not in my bed but Conrad's bed and I see him standing right in-front of me. All of a sudden all the memories from the night prior come flooding back into my mind.

      "Good morning" Conrad says to me knocking me out of my thoughts.

      "Good morning" I say back to him as I pull the covers up a bit closer to my shoulders.

      Then he points next to me towards the night stand and there's a bottle of water and two little ibuprofen pills there. I pick them up and swallow with the water. "Thank you." I say to him.

       "So um about last night..." I start to say.

       "Mag we don't have to talk about that right now if you don't want to." Conrad says to me.

       "No I want to." I say back to him. He nods and gestures for me to continue. "So like what does, you know, everything that happened mean for us? I'm just the kind of girl who has to know. I don't want to be overthinking everything for days." I start to ramble.

      "Well I am not rushing into anything but I like you mags." He says to me. My heart flutters at his words.

     "I like you too." I say smiling at him.

     "I know." He says back

      "I hate to cut this short but I should probably get back to my dorm. I smell like beer." I laugh a bit.

      "Yeah you do." He laughs. "I'll walk you back."
 
      I smile and nod before I get up. I gather my things from the night before. "Do you want me to change back so I can give you these clothes?"

     "Nah keep them for now." He says to me.

      I smile at his gesture and he opens the door for me and we walk out.

      Conrad walked me back to my dorm and we said our goodbyes before I went in the building. I went back up to my room to he greeted by Emma who was watching Netflix on her MacBook.

      "So you and Conrad?" She says to me.

       "Shut up." I say jokingly " We're...friends."

       "Friends my ass. He let you stay in his room last night. Wait oh my god did you guys you know?" She asks looking excited and shutting the lid to her computer.

        "Oh my god no! Literally we went back to his room and I went to sleep. We didn't even sleep in the same bed. He slept  on the floor." I say back to her

       "Mhm whatever you say Magnolia." She shakes her head jokingly.

         I playfully roll my eyes as I go grab some comfy clothes out of my closet. Some soft shorts and a big tee shirt. "I'm gonna take a shower I feel disgusting." I say to Emma before heading off to the shower.

        "Okay miss girl." She says back to me.

          I head to the shower and wash away the night before. Once I'm finished I change into my clothes I picked out and head back to my room.

         "You wanna get Chinese food?" Emma asks me.

         "Yes please." I respond.

         Emma orders the Chinese food and when it comes we just talk about the night before I tell her all about how me and Conrad kissed and how he told me he liked me this morning. We spent the rest of the day just having a chill girls day recharging until about four o clock when Emma gets a text from Gavin asking if we wanted to go out.

         "Wanna go out later with Gavin? He's probably gonna bring Conrad." Emma asks me.

         "Why not?" I say to her. "Just let me relax for another twenty minutes and then I'll get ready."

        Not even five minutes later I get a text from Conrad.

Conrad:
So miss jungle juice is gonna be out again tonight?
