Nami's pov:

The night was draped in a blanket of stars, each one shimmering like a promise in the dark sky. We were at a gala, not our usual scene, but this wasn't just any party. It was a celebration of a celestial event that only happened once every decade, and the terrace was abuzz with astronomers and stargazers all gathered to witness the spectacle.

I was in my element, wearing a black gown sprinkled with glitter that caught the light, making me feel like one of the stars we were all there to admire. But tonight, my usual role as navigator and treasurer was overshadowed by an unexpected development involving Sanji.

He had chosen an outfit that, unbeknownst to him, closely matched the description of a renowned astrologist expected at the event. The gown was sleek, a perfect blend of elegance and mystery, with a neckline that spoke of both fashion and a kind of professional grace. It wasn't long before he caught the eye of someone very interested-not in his culinary skills, but in his supposed astronomical expertise.

The scientist, a bubbly woman with a sharp intellect and an even sharper eye for detail, approached Sanji with a level of enthusiasm that could rival Luffy's when he spots meat. "Dr. Stellaris, I presume?" she beamed, taking Sanji's hand with stars of her own in her eyes.

Sanji, ever the gentleman, didn't correct her immediately. "Ah, no, I think you may be-"

"Of course you are! Who else could pull off such a cosmic ensemble?" she interrupted, her gaze sweeping over him admiringly. "Your latest paper on the influence of celestial bodies on sea currents was absolutely revolutionary!"

I had to stifle a giggle from my vantage point. Sanji, the pretend astrologist? This I had to see. Keeping a watchful eye on them, I navigated through the crowd, mingling but always keeping them within earshot.

Sanji, caught in the role by accident and too polite to walk away, nodded along as she continued to gush about theories and star patterns. "Yes, well, the stars do tell us quite a bit, don't they?" he said vaguely, trying to steer the conversation away from anything too technical.

"Oh, absolutely!" she agreed, pulling him towards a telescope. "Please, Dr. Stellaris, would you honor me with your insights on tonight's alignment?"

There, under the starlit sky with a telescope between them, Sanji found himself having to improvise observations about the stars. With each of his hesitant, vague statements, she nodded vigorously, completely taken in. "Fascinating! Your perspective is so refreshingly unique!"

The night wore on, and with every passing minute, Sanji's new admirer became more enchanted, hanging on his every word, no matter how nonsensical or cooked up they might be. It was clear he was winging it, but his charm was undeniable, and she was not the only one who noticed.

"Looks like Sanji's got himself a fan club," Robin commented, joining me with a wry smile.

"I just hope she doesn't ask him to write a paper on it," I whispered back, the two of us sharing a quiet laugh.

Finally, as the event drew to a close and the celestial phenomenon reached its peak, Sanji managed to excuse himself, promising the smitten scientist that they would discuss his "theories" another time. He made his way back to us, a look of relief washing over him as he escaped into the safety of familiar company.

"That was a close call," he admitted, chuckling nervously. "I think I'll stick to cooking from now on."

"Good idea," I agreed, patting him on the back. "Let's leave the stars to the real experts, shall we?"

As we left the gala, the stars above still twinkling mischievously, I couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for my crew. Whether navigating the seas or a sea of astronomers, we always found a way to sail through, even if we had to bluff our way under a starry sky.
