Logan brushed his fingers through his close cropped hair for the umpteenth time. Camille was coming over any minute now so they could take the bus to the fairgrounds.
It was his first real date. Sure, he had technically been on one back in Minnesota, but that was a group date. It was mostly for Kendall's benefit anyway since he was trying to impress some girl from his English class.
Honestly, Logan had mostly tagged along so he wasn't left out. It was hard to believe that was almost 7 months ago. They had been in LA for over half a year.
So much had changed since then. He had changed so much since then.
He sighed again.
"If you sigh one more time I'm going to poke your eye out with a pen." Kendall grumbled from his side of the room.
The blonde was grumpy, but Logan had no idea why. He figured it was probably because of whatever had Jo ignoring him like he had the plague for the last week. When asked about it, All Kendall had said, was something about a text message.
Logan was tempted to go through his friend's phone but all the evidence pointed to that being a horrible idea.
"Jeez." He mumbled, and Kendall glared at him. "What's up your ass?"
"Nothing." Kendall said, turning back into his bed. Logan wanted to ask further questions, but the sound of James's voice greeting Camille distracted him. He smoothed his grey Polo shirt down one last time before walking into the living room.
Camille looked pretty. Her hair was in pigtails, the spiraly curls smoothed down. She was wearing a white tank top and a jean skirt along with a pair of flats.
"Hey." She said, her cheeks flushed.
"Hey." Logan said in response. "You look really nice."
Camille's cheeks turned even more red. "Thank you. You clean up nicely too."
James rolled his eyes from his spot on the couch. "You both look nice. Just go on your date already."
Logan glared at him, before turning his attention back to Camille. "You ready to go?" He asked and Camille grinned.
"Hell yeah." Her hand reached out for his and they left 2J holding hands.
As they made their way down the hallway, Logan wondered to himself, was it normal to feel this calm on a first date?
Those were questions he could answer later, he figured. Right now, he had a pretty girl to show a good time.

After Jo's birthday party, Olive had spent most of her time in her bedroom. She knew it wasn't healthy, but all she wanted was to mope.
"You're being ridiculous." Wren had said when she got home the next morning, looking like a zombie. "A sleepover could not be that bad."
Oh but it could, Olive had thought.
Since then, she had spent the rest of the weekend in her room. Wren had poked her head in every couple of hours, checking on her and commenting on how messy her room was.
And today apparently was the day Wren got sick of it.
Bright and early at 6AM, Olive found herself being ripped out of her bed, and dumped into the bathtub, Wren turning the cold shower on.
