Megumi Fushiguro and Y/n Okkotsu, two students from Jujutsu Tech, visited the grounds of Sugisawa High with a clear mission: find the cursed object. The air was thick with tension as they walked the deserted school grounds, their footsteps echoing in the quiet night. The cursed energy was faint but palpable, a reminder that something dangerous lurked nearby.

Megumi, his expression serious and focused, had been tracking the cursed object for days. He stopped near the school's entrance and scanned the area, his eyes narrowing. "The cursed object should be here, but... I can't pinpoint it."

Y/n, standing a few steps behind him, could feel the unease in the air. She had only recently joined Jujutsu Tech, still struggling to adjust to the dangerous new world she had been thrust into. But tonight was different—tonight, she could feel the weight of something much darker pressing down on her. Something that made her stomach twist in knots.

"What if someone else took it?" Y/n asked quietly, her voice barely above a whisper as she looked around, the oppressive atmosphere gnawing at her nerves.

Megumi shook his head, pulling out his phone. "It's not that simple. If the cursed object's seal is weakening, we're running out of time."

He quickly dialed Gojo's number, the phone ringing a few times before Gojo's voice, light and playful as always, answered on the other end.

"Megumi! How's the hunt going?"

"It's not here," Megumi said, his voice edged with frustration. "We've searched the grounds, but the cursed object is missing."

There was a pause on the other end before Gojo responded, his tone still as casual as ever. "Well, that's unfortunate. Guess you're not coming home until you find it, then. Good luck!"

Megumi clenched his jaw, irritation flashing in his eyes. "You can't be serious. This thing is dangerous. The longer it's out there, the worse it'll get."

"Exactly," Gojo replied with a chuckle. "So, get to work. I believe in you. And hey, Y/n's with you, right? Make sure she observes and learns."

Y/n's heart sank at the mention of her name. Observing wasn't what she wanted to do—she wanted to be useful. But she wasn't ready. Not yet. She could feel it in the pit of her stomach, the way her hands trembled slightly even when she tried to steady them.

"I'm gonna punch yo-"Before he could finish, Gojo hung up. He stared at his phone, clearly irritated, before shoving it back into his pocket.

"I'm seriously going to punch him" Megumi muttered under his breath, running a hand through his hair. He turned to Y/n, his expression softening slightly. "We'll have to handle this ourselves. Let's keep searching."

Y/n nodded, trying to push down the swirling anxiety inside her. Just stay calm, she told herself. You're here to learn. You're not expected to fight. Just observe.

(Next Day)

As they continued their search, Megumi caught sight of a group of students leaving the school building. One of them, a tall boy with light pink hair, immediately drew his attention. His name was Yuji Itadori, and Megumi could feel something strange about him—something different. Y/n noticed it too. There was an odd energy around him, though it was faint, like an echo of something hidden beneath the surface.

Sasaki and Iguchi, members of the Occult Club, reassured Yuji that he didn't need to stay in their club, but Yuji insisted on remaining for personal reasons. His impressive physical abilities had already made him a standout, even catching the attention of the track and field team.

Y/n watched as Yuji effortlessly dominated in a shot-put competition, his strength far beyond that of any ordinary high school student. "That's... incredible," Y/n muttered, her eyes widening in surprise.
