Thy smile, once bright, now fades like sunset's glow,
Thy face, a storm-tossed haven, keeps me low.
A secret sorrow, only you could know,
An abyss in thine eyes, chills my very core. The stars once bright, now dim with thy lost grace,
Thy sorrow's heart, a grain of sand I'll hold.
Fear not, my love, I'll heal this empty space,
Thy lovely face, a sight I'll never fold.Alone I stand, yet still thy beauty calls,
My faithfulness, a flame that burns so bright.
Unrequited love, a haunting, mournful thrall,
I'll chase away thy lonely, starless night.Though birds may sing a song of love's refrain,
Our doom is sealed, our love will never wane.
