My heart desires to stay with thee, lovely,
Seeking, keeping, loving, and treasure thee,
Our love, strongly, memory upholds me
To keep the shine of stars at night for thee.
Just keep my love, thy beauty I enthralled,
To look on high tower, thy face, around,
Thy words, thy voice, a beautiful ear sound,
Leading my love to reach thy heart unbound.
I stand in furious cold, bold and alone,
The stars arrange their form at night, to roam,
In crowd, I see thy fancy in one lone,
Thy love, a burning rain, brings danger home.
The doom is near, I love thy smile, my dear,
I keep thy love and still walk on, my cheer.
